sticky
When I opened it it was extremely sticky and felt waxy. I tried to get the sticky off by running it under water but it just made it worse

Crazy-chewing dog not interested and have quality issues

My new dog is NUTS for chewing plastic and rubber toys, so I've bought a huge assortment of Nylabone, Benebone, and other chew toys for her. I got one of these when they were on sale and I'm disappointed. The manufacturer uses some sort of temperamental plastic formula that reacted with something it was stored near and turned to a disgusting, sticky, almost melted texture. Chewy sent me a replacement that was in better condition, but my dog barely chewed it for 2 minutes before going back to another toy. Normally she'd chew on a new toy until I take it away or until it's time to go outside. I don't quite know how to describe it, but these are a more brittle or harder plastic than the other brands. My dog's teeth just kind of slid along it instead of digging in, which I suppose might make them last longer but is probably why she didn't keep chewing on it. I won't be buying this brand again.
Do NOT ingest (AVOID)
How can a bone state do NOT ingest when little bits come off the bone as they chew it. IMO, I'm no doctor but each time my dog chewed the bone on two separate occasions
