Awful, strong herbal mixture smell, nothing to do with tuna

I had so much hope... My rescue cat comes from terrible abuse situation, he has PTSD. He is now OK at home, sweet and quiet, eats well, very food-motivated, good with my other cat but still won't let me touch him, for a whole year. Someone kicked his canines out with a boot or, maybe, a baseball bat. There is no way I can give him a drop or a pill, or pick him up for a vet visit, he is big and very strong now with grown nails, and he hides first. Chasing him might throw him back to his initial locked-in and terrified state. He would give anything for Churu, even licks it from my palm, the only close contact we have. I mixed a 1 ml dose with 3 Churu packets and he still won't touch it. We are quite desperate now.

How it makes my cat feel better

My cat is feeling better than she has in a long time. Highly recommend this product versus meds.

My cat doesn’t reject it and it really helps regulate him.

I made this a regular part of my picky cat’s supplement rotation. He’s 11 yrs old and has hyperthyroidism and I genuinely see a difference in his mood and appetite

Opposite effect

While my kitty liked the flavor, it made her hyperactive instead of calm.

My pet hates it - but it worked

My cat has a thyroid nodule, and I tried this to see if it would help his hyperthyroid symptoms. I was able to get it down to him once 1 time. But, he calmed down. It smells like alcohol and herbs - despite claiming it is bacon-flavored. I imagine this would work for a dog; just hide it in a treat. However, cat's are too smart and won't gobble down a big treat like a dog. I hope this helps someone out there.

My 17 year old has been taking this for three weeks. His fur is smoother and he is more active. When he was on a prescription I didn't see any improvement after six weeks. I definitely will be keeping him on this.

I very rarely leave reviews, but I thought others might find this helpful. My cat is 16 years old. She has be dealing with Hyperthyroidism for a few years. She was losing weight, but otherwise happy and active for her age. The medicine from the vet made her horribly sick. She wouldn't eat. She just sat in a chair and stared at the wall. I thought she was in her last days. She seemed like she was suffering so I told the vet I didn't want to put her through that anymore, which they understood. I read a lot about the medicine I am reviewing. I decided to give it a try. I put it in her food in the morning and evening (she eats canned food). I have been doing monthly weigh ins. We are on month three of this medicine and she has gained 1.5 pounds which shocked me! If I am able to, I will update again in a couple months. Of course every cat is different. It may not help others at all, but I wanted to share my story since my cat is quite old.
