This product's description is contradictory. In one spot it says "known to help support normal activity and normal weight in pups with clinical hyperthyroidism" and in another it says "Helps ease symptoms associated with hypothyroidism". Which is it? This is a critical difference!

The Thyroid Support Gold is meant to help with hyperthyroidism, which is an over active thyroid and much more common in cats. The Thyroid Support Silver is meant to help with hypothyroidism which is an under active thyroid, which is much more common in dogs.

I have a bottle of this about a year old, but I cannot find an expiration date. Does it expire or is this safe to use now?

The expiration date for each bottle will be listed on the base of the bottle. Overall, these are good for 4-5 years from the date of manufacture.

helped older spayed dog

9yr old papillon who has a stage 4 heart murmur and an valve problem so exercise is out of the question between age and restricted exercise she was only gaining weight, after starting thyroid silver she can now actually eat more then 1/4 cup a day and she’s more active happy and at a healthy weight

My heeler has a thyroid issue and has lost much of the fur on her tail. She also has not shed her coat in the past year. This product was recommended so thought I’d give it a try. After giving the recommended dose for two months I’ve seen no changes in her fur. I will not be reordering once this jar is empty.

It Really Works

I have a GSD that had no hair on his back legs and his belly was also having issue. He had been on Thyroid Support Silver for barely 2 weeks and 85% of his hair

I have a GSD that had no hair on his back legs and his belly was also having issue. He had been on Thyroid Support Silver for barely 2 weeks and 85% of his hair has grown back and his belly looks much better. I'm shocked to how fast his body is reacting to this. The only issue I'm having is he is gassy and has soft poop, which doesn't seem to be getting better. I'm hoping as he is on this longer it improves. This is the only reason right now it is 4 stars instead of 5.
