All kittens should receive their mother’s milk for at least 2 days, if possible. The colostrum milk gives extra nutrition and temporary immunity against some diseases. Warm KMR to room or body temperature. Feed kittens 2 tablespoons per 4 oz of body weight daily. Divide the daily feeding amount into equal portions for each feeding. Small and/or weak kittens should be fed every 3 to 4 hours. Larger and/or older kittens can do well being fed every 8 hours. The amount required should be increased or decreased to meet the individual requirements for each kitten. When kittens are old enough to lap, begin offering KMR in a shallow container. During the 6th week mix KMR with KMR 2nd Step Kitten Weaning Food to allow the kitten to be gradually switched to solid food.
Pregnant and lactating queens: Feed 2 tablespoons of KMR per 5 lbs of body weight daily.
Growing kittens (post weaning), show cats and/or convalescing cats: Feed 1 tablespoon of KMR per 5 lbs of body weight daily.
Store unopened can in a cool, dry place. Opened can, discard if not used within 72 hours. May be frozen in single serving size containers for up to 6 weeks. Do not freeze in original container.

This product is absolutely wonderful! Not only is it convenient, it is a life saver. Than you so much!!!
This is the standard kitten formula and for that I give it 5 stars but was shocked that the can I ordered here had no scooper! Fortunately, I had a scooper from the KMR can I bought at a store in PA where I found the kitten. Thank goodness that one had a scooper as I was out in the middle of nowhere! Why would some have scoopers, some not?!
I adopted 6 weeks kitten, she loves it. A year later I got another kittens and he loves it. Then they growing up and have 3 babies, they all love it.
I have tried the liquid form of KMR on many different kittens at different times and it always causes bad diarrhea. Just buy the powder form!
The three kittens that I am fostering LOVE this milk. For some reason, they do not like the powered version. It is a good product and they are getting stronger and healthier every day.
My little rescue kittens love this formula. They run to their bowls when they see me.
I stir it good and warm it up for kittens they love it and seem healthy
Two litters down and one to go! Momma says time for me to help feed. Six healthy kiddos, shot, and ready to go. The dog won"t miss them: 11 is too many! Last five, which live in a train of interconnected Chewy boxes, will be fed this with mashed kitty food when it arrives. Thank you Chewy
Will not even be opening this product, going straight into the trash. There is also rust around the bottom of the can.
Mixed the KMR with kitten wet food to help mama cat in feeding her kittens plus I didn't think mama's milk supply was sustaining the kittens. KMR helped greatly.
