At the time of manufacture, this product has a shelf-life of 2 years. Each bottle will have an expiration date printed on it.

Cat eats as a treat

My elderly cat has a limited diet due to food allergies. She also has an enlarged heart and murmur. I consulted with my vet before giving my cat taurine as directed

My elderly cat has a limited diet due to food allergies. She also has an enlarged heart and murmur. I consulted with my vet before giving my cat taurine as directed. I don't know if it's helping her, but she eats it like a tasty treat and she's doing well. I give her a 1/2 tab but broken up into 3 tiny pieces so she can eat it without risk of choking. It gives me peace of mind knowing she's getting her proper intake of taurine. Not all cat food labels list Taurine content.

tablets provide the whole dose, especially for more than one cat, verses putting powder in their food. Both of my cats like the tablets.

Taurine supplement for cat with heart condition

My cat has a serious heart condition along with food allergies (he cant tolerate chicken and other poultry, fish and other seafood). Because of his food issues

My cat has a serious heart condition along with food allergies (he cant tolerate chicken and other poultry, fish and other seafood). Because of his food issues he was lacking in Taurine which is crucial for his heart and overall health. Luckily, he enjoys the flavor of these tablets. I crush them on top of his wet food, and sometimes he will chew them up if I break into smaller pieces. The tablets do become soft when put into a daily pill case which makes them hard to crush.

My cat almost died from lack of taurine

She is now fine since I gave a pinch of taurine to make up for the lack of Taurine in some of Friskies lil' soups. Shame on the company!

Essential for their diet

I’m glad I was able to find this in tablet form as I am making my cats food and I want Taurine added. I crush into a powder and add to their home cooked meals.
