Isn't its first ingredient, Belladonna, poisonous to dogs?
Answer by • Aug 18, 2020
PetAlive EaseSure-M Nervous System Support Dog & Cat Supplement is a homeopathic remedy. Homeopathy uses the belief that "like cures like", meaning that large doses of a substance (like belladonna) may cause certain symptoms in a healthy person, but smaller doses of the substance can relieve the symptoms in an affected person. These tinctures are diluted many times over, using the homeopathic belief that highly diluted forms of an original substance make the medicine more effective in engaging the body's natural healing processes. This makes the belladonna safe and effective.
Is the dosage for cats 4-6 drops 2 or 3 times a day? Or is it 4-6 drops as the total number of drops so each dose would be 2 drops?
Answer by • Nov 18, 2020
Use a dropper or syringe to administer into your dog or cat’s mouth, or mix into its food or water, 2-3 times daily. For cats and dogs under 20 pounds, give 4-6 drops each time. For dogs 20-50 pounds, give 0.25 mL each time. For dogs over 50 pounds, give 0.50 mL each time. For acute symptoms, administer every 20-30 minutes as needed or until symptoms subside, up to 10 doses.
Is this to be used on a daily basis?
Answer by • May 27, 2018
This supplement can be used daily.
Will this help with seizures? My cat takes eassure-s but, that's no longer available and these ingredients are different.
Answer by • Jan 01, 2021
This supplement is not intended for treating seizures. We recommend speaking to your vet to see what would be suitable for your pet's current treatment plan.
