Way smaller than expected

I ordered a size up and it was way too small. This would be appropriate for a Chihuahua size dog. My dogs are only 10 pounds and didn't fit. It was also very awkward

First of all, the way they call this "airline approved" is hilarious. I don't know how they can get away with that and I hope no one takes that seriously. Otherwise, here are my thoughts after using this once on a hike: Pros: This is packable to bring as backup on a hike and can be worn at the same time as a backpack with. It was very easy to get my dog into this carrier and she tolerated it well. Cons: The bottom offers almost no support. My poor dog slumped all the way down and seemed to be hanging by a mega wedgie, even though I bought the size for her measurements. I was concerned for her hips and spine. It seems like it should have some additional adjustable straps, at the least. I have avoided using it since that experience, but I guess its still okay as a last resort for short stints.

She kept coming out of it so we really couldn’t use it. It was ok when we first put her in but she kept slipping out. Maybe it was too big IDK
