Will the rubber backing damage a leather couch?

No. I bought this specifically because I bought a brand new leather couch. It stays in place & washes well (although I do wash it by itself). I have 2, 90# dogs so I bought for hair, dirt, & their nails. I’m very happy and plan to buy more.

Doesn't stay on

I was hoping this would actually stay on because of the rubber? Spots on the reverse side. It doesn't work, it slips around like there's nothing even trying to keep

I was hoping this would actually stay on because of the rubber? Spots on the reverse side. It doesn't work, it slips around like there's nothing even trying to keep it on. I had to scotch tape it to the couch, and it still doesn't stay on. Works well IF you can get it to stay in place. I was really hoping this would work, it didn't. I'm going to try velcro, even tho it'll probably ruine the couch. In the picture, I freshly put it on for the first timevsitting on it, immediately upon sitting it pulled away from the couch. I think the *grips* they added would maybe work better on a leather couch. It doesn't stay on cloth couches. I bought this because the couch cover I previously bought from Chewy, it was baige, didn't fit properly, kept sliding down, and basically fell apart. My dogs well manicured paws kept pulling out the stitching. The stitching on the new one is much better tho. That's the only reason I gave it a singular star.

Got this to cover my bed with, as my cat keeps peeing on my bed. The good? It really is water (or pee) proof. When she pees, it just pools, and I can easily wipe it up and clean the spot. The bad? It ATTRACTS fur, and the fur wants to Stay. Maybe my normal blanket did too, for all I know - but it is distressingly covered in fur after just a week. It is also EXTREMELY lightweight, and the little rubber bits on the underside don’t seem to keep it gripped - it feels like it falls off if you touch it wrong or breathe in its direction. It might work well on a couch, where you can tuck it in well - but not working great on a bed. I’m going to look to replace it with something with a bit more weight.

Not waterproof

My dog is taking quite a few Lasix medications due to heart issues. I bought 4 of these so when she has uncontrollable leaking, it would be contained to the cover. These are definitely not waterproof. Had it covering our bed and when she leaked, it soaked through this cover and my bedding. I always have a protector for my bed, otherwise it would have soaked down to my mattress as well. I am not happy. I spent quite a lot on these, thinking they would be great. Waste of money!!

Saving my couch during potty training

This is our first time training a toy breed, which I later found out are a bit notorious for having tricky potty training. We are still battling with convincing Franck that our couch is not an appropriate place to pee when he needs to go/is annoyed with us/is making territory/fill in the blank of countless other reasons, but this cover has been a life saver. Not one drop soaks through, and we bought a few so if he goes where he shouldn’t, we just pop the soiled cover in the wash and throw a fresh one down. Only downside (very possibly my user error if I am not washing properly) is that the material sticks together in the wash/dry process, so I have to painstakingly peel it back into flat shape sometimes. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is having trouble with a naughty urinator!

I wanted to like this but it’s very thin, & the skid proof backing doesn’t really work. My dog actually moves off of it when she’s on the bed I think because it makes a noise when she moves on it. I haven’t washed yet but I’m worried how it’ll hold up it feels more like a cheap mattress protector. I think we’ll be going back to just a fleece blanket on our bed to cover our comforter - comfy for dog & easy to wash .

Washed one time and already scrunched up. I bought 3 different ones and washed them all at the same time as the tag said. Dried them all at the same time. Pulled

Washed one time and already scrunched up. I bought 3 different ones and washed them all at the same time as the tag said. Dried them all at the same time. Pulled them out and 2 out of the 3 worked prefect. The third one wrinkle and kinked up and now will not open correctly. Washed only works correctly every once in a while. Watch out when cleaning problem kink up.

Melted in the dryer!

THEN, Second time I washed and dried them, 4 of them melted together because of the back of the cover. They also grabbed every hair off the cats and then it would be all over us when we sat down.

They work good for keeping muddy paws off of furniture and are easily washable, but the anti-slip is all but nonexistent. Also, I have them multiple times without issue, but I hang them to dry based on other reviews. Unfortunately, I had to buy two and see them together to get full coverage.

Got this to protect our spare bed from hairballs after our sweet little floofy cat puked up on it twice in one week. Excellent! I bout 3 of these to cover my furniture because I have a senior Shorkie that has accidents. When she peed on the couch it puddle up and dripped down in the floor when i pulled it off. I did wash and dry 2 of them and they didn't bunch up. The 3rd one wadded up but if you read the description for this product you have to dry on low heat. I didn't see this until I went back and read the description , so that's my fault. Just be sure to hang dry or dry on low heat. I will purchase more if I need too.
