This should be fed as a treat. Make sure cake is fully cooled before treating. Portion cake into pieces appropriate for size of cat. Monitor cat while treating and always have fresh water available. Refrigerate leftovers for 1 week. Freeze leftovers for 2 weeks.

The birthday girl licked the frosting but didn't eat the actual cake itself. I added organic, plain yogurt and raw honey to the frosting mix to give it some thickness

The birthday girl licked the frosting but didn't eat the actual cake itself. I added organic, plain yogurt and raw honey to the frosting mix to give it some thickness. Our other cat really liked the cake part as well too and ate the rest instead of the birthday girl. I did add wet cat food to the cake mixture, though. So, I spiced the mixtures up a bit. It turned out great, and the cakes are so cute! It definitely makes for a great photo opportunity as well!

cute for looks

I added a bit of chopped canned chicken, as per the options in the instructions. Our 3 kitties seemed interested, but 2 of them walked away after sniffing the product

I added a bit of chopped canned chicken, as per the options in the instructions. Our 3 kitties seemed interested, but 2 of them walked away after sniffing the product. One took a few bites before leaving. The cakes were dry after baking, so I should have shortened the baking time by a few seconds. The mold does make adorable fish-shaped ice cubes, so not a total loss!
