Petcube Bites 2 Lite Interactive WiFi Pet Monitoring Treat Dispenser Camera

As a new dog parent, trying out the Petcube Bites 2 Lite has been pawsitively awesome! The treat dispenser keeps my furry buddy wagging his tail, and user-friendly app make it a true companion for keeping tabs on my pup. Barking recommendation for fellow dog moms and dads who want to stay connected when they're not at home!

Works so well! Throws treats perfectly. The quality of the camera is awesome. I recently started having to be away from my cats longer than I like and this helps make it so much easier. They even know to look at this camera now for me.

The best camera with treats

Love it! Really great experience with my dog. It helps me understand what is going on with my baby. And calm him while I'm at work by talking with him and rewarding a treat. Recommended.

Barely works, no help resources

This camera has caused me so much trouble over the year in which I've used it. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It says it's connected when it's not, regularly. It basically needs to sit right next to your router to even have a chance to function properly (which may be the case for other pet cameras as well, not sure). There are essentially no resources to turn to for help aside from a "support page" you can access through the app, where you can read about all the other problems typically unrelated to the issue you'll likely run into. Chewy has tried to help me multiple times, but unfortunately they are as limited to resources as the customer. I recommend finding a camera that has actual customer service to help you with troubleshooting. If you are willing to pay for a monthly subscription on top of the price for the camera, maybe you will have better luck. If you are looking for a simple camera to check on the pets you so deeply care for, I hope you can find something more reliable than this.

Perfect

This camera/dispenser is exactly what I was looking for. Dispenses the treats great and keeps the kitties interested when I talk through it.

Defective item

I read reviews and this one seemed good so I got it! However, it won’t connect to my internet. Everything checks out and I think it’s just a flawed feeder. I’m going to try and return it for a new one. Disappointing because it should’ve been so easy. That’s my luck!

Doesn't have a battery

Easy to set up. But I discovered that it does not have a battery so it has to be plugged in all the time. And if your power goes out it will not work.

Great item

It's great. Easy to hook up and install your wifi router. Works easily and every time. Live view or 30 second clips of the day. It takes time to get your dog used to it, but they like the treats when they come back in from outside.

Audio quality

Horrible audio quality. Need additional subscription to get motion detetection and recording. Probably will return this if I can't fix the audio issue.

Works for a month and then it's garbage

When this will actually deign to connect to your home wifi, it's great. However, after the 1st month we owned it, it completely stopped connecting to our network, despite there being no problem with our internet (all other devices are working just fine and have no connectivity issues). I have reset it so many times, and even rebooted our router, but it refuses to access our network.
