How hard does it throw treats out? I do t want my cats scared

This camera will record videos triggered by motion and sound and you can configure push notifications to be sent as soon as new video recordings are available, enabling Care Video Recording setting.

Which type of treat fits on the dispenser? Can be soft chew ?

You are not required to use any specific treats with Petcube Bites, as long as they are crunchy and are 0.3 to 1 inch in size to avoid mechanical issues with the treat dispenser.

This camera doesn’t record and save videos on a memory card does it? Like take a microsd card. If you don’t have a prescription can is save videos? If so for how long?

This treat dispenser does not take a memory card. Video recoding are saved to your phone’s storage. For the more information you may select the "Instructions" tab on the product page.

This camera is fine, the sound is good both ways and the treat feature is nice. However, you have to go full screen on the app to hear or talk to your pet, there are no alerts, and the app is mostly a platform for ads and not very user friendly. For the price, its not what I was hoping for

The Petcube Bites 2 Lite arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I upgraded from my old Petcube, and I’m so glad I did! The treat dispenser is amazing ! I can easily talk to my dog Keanu and reward him right from my phone. The video and audio quality are excellent, and the night vision is impressively clear. Stopped working

Unreliable when it did work, frequently did not dispense treat, had to unload and re-load. Stopped working all together by 6 months even after changing treats, cleaning

Unreliable when it did work, frequently did not dispense treat, had to unload and re-load. Stopped working all together by 6 months even after changing treats, cleaning out any crumbs, etc. Dispensing mechanism stopped rotating. Waste of money.

Decent camera, loud mechanism

We purchased this to help train dog on settling and separation anxiety. Ended up using this more for the camera than the treat dispenser; the dispenser is loud

We purchased this to help train dog on settling and separation anxiety. Ended up using this more for the camera than the treat dispenser; the dispenser is loud which wasn't a positive add to the type of training we were doing. That said, if you weren't concerned about noise it seems to work fine

Horrible Customer Support

This was a gift from my kids. It worked until one day the treats wouldn’t launch. Tried troubleshooting and contacted PetCube customer support only to get offered

This was a gift from my kids. It worked until one day the treats wouldn’t launch. Tried troubleshooting and contacted PetCube customer support only to get offered a slight discount on a new one! So annoying they didn’t stand behind their product. I wanted a replacement but not even sure they had an actual human being in customer support. Seemed like very “bot” responses.

CHANGE TO FURBO

This is the second Bites 2 Lite device that I purchased that resulted in the same issue as the first. The only difference is the first device I had for a few years

This is the second Bites 2 Lite device that I purchased that resulted in the same issue as the first. The only difference is the first device I had for a few years before the motor gave out. I just recently purchased this new device in Nov 2023 and the motor Already gave out in Oct 2024. I can no longer feed my cat treats manually through the app or on a scheduled feeder time. After contacting customer service, the said to try and reset the device even though I told them this is not the problem. I did all of that with the last device and it didn't work which is why I had to buy this new one. The issue is the faulty product. I've taken out the hopper and put it back in, just in case. It's the manufacturing not the fact that it needs to be reset. I reset it anyway and to no surprise, it is following suit of the last product, still does not work. I wanted my money back, they said they will send me a new one. A THIRD! I no longer want to use their products. It is not reliable. I have already placed an order with Furbo. Their apology was “I understand, secret coupon code at the checkout to get $1 off Optimal monthly plan, or to save $6 when you pick Optimal yearly subscription.
