Dose the camera work long distance like from Chicago to Mexico

As long as the Petcube is within range of your wireless network, you can reposition it according to your needs. However, if you’re trying to use it in a different Wi-Fi environment or want to connect the camera to a different wireless network, you need to change the Wi-Fi settings in the Petcube app.

The first thing this unit tries to do is subscribe you to a monthly service. Then, the app you use to control it is FULL of ads trying sell more stuff, pet insurance,

The first thing this unit tries to do is subscribe you to a monthly service. Then, the app you use to control it is FULL of ads trying sell more stuff, pet insurance, vet advice service, etc. Good luck finding the little dog one feature you have to hit to toss treats. And, it looks like there's a laser pointer on it you can do with your cats, there isn't one. I'm sorry that I spent so much on this thing. I can't believe all of the ads! What a con!

Disappointed

This pet cam is a disappointment. It worked great for a year or so. Gradually it started to go offline more and more. It has been in the same location the entire

This pet cam is a disappointment. It worked great for a year or so. Gradually it started to go offline more and more. It has been in the same location the entire time but tech support says I need to move it closer to the router. That wound defeat the purpose of where I need it. Also, it now only flings treats about every 5th time I try. The motor runs but nothing comes out. My dogs are starting to ignore it as most of the time there is no payoff.

Our first pet cube broke within one year of purchase. Pet cube sent a replacement and one year later that one stopped working. Both times they completely died and wouldn’t turn back on. The units were never dropped, misused or suffered any significant wear that would cause the failure. Just an overall bad product.

Complete trash

1.) Requires a subscription to view videos, no internal storage. 2.) Extremely poor video and somehow worse audio quality 3.) Only works for a day at a time and

Worked for 2 months

After 2 months, the device makes no sound. I can still hear through it's microphone, but my pet can't hear me. Also, like others have stated, it loses connection

I can see my girl from work!

I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because with the camera on the bottom of the Petcube, it kind of limits the visibility when it’s sitting on a dresser or shelf

I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because with the camera on the bottom of the Petcube, it kind of limits the visibility when it’s sitting on a dresser or shelf or something. You have to place it all the way at the front edge of what it’s sitting on. I think it would be better if the camera was on the top part of the unit instead of the bottom. Maybe if you mount it on a wall, it won’t be an issue? Other than that, it’s wonderful! The camera quality and sound quality are both VERY good! The app seems to be working fine. Overall I am very pleased with the product.

We were looking for a pet cam for our Cockapoo and Chihuahua/Pom mixed dogs. Very easy to set up once you download the app. My roommate and I work odd hours so we wanted something to keep an eye on the pups while we're away. This does the trick while we're able to also feed them treats which makes it fun for them. We like the options of how far you can throw the treats as well. Another plus we like is being able to talk to them through the camera. The picture quality is very nice compared to some other ones we've seen. (Which is probably why the price is a little higher for the quality)
