This camera does have the capability to record video however, that feature does require a subscription (purchased separately through the manufacturer).

Can I control the monitor to move by my phone app?

The camera angle can not be controlled from your phone. We recommend placing Petcube Cam on a table or shelf at least 3 feet above the floor. Consider a location that allows for maximum coverage through wide angle lens. It’s always a good idea to point Cam in the direction where your pets tend to spend most of their time.

Can't get it to not squel at a high pitch.

It's awful. Took me forever to pair it and get it to work. Then it just swelled when I tried the sound. It's awful. Don't buy it. And also the extras they talk about

Does not Work

I bought this so I could check in on my cat while I was on a trip but the camera will not connect to wifi no matter what I do. I checked all the requirements, unplugged

I bought this so I could check in on my cat while I was on a trip but the camera will not connect to wifi no matter what I do. I checked all the requirements, unplugged the router and plugged it back in, even got my wifi provider to help me separate my 2.4ghz band so that I made sure I was connecting to the right one. Nothing. Very disappointed. Only giving one star because I have to.

Great functionality

I wish the camera moved and that it had an actual mounting option. It comes with a sticky piece but I do not want to mount that on the wall and rip off the paint

I wish the camera moved and that it had an actual mounting option. It comes with a sticky piece but I do not want to mount that on the wall and rip off the paint. It comes with a magnet but the magnet doesn't stick to anything. Also, the sound portion of the microphone and speaker isn't great. It always comes out distorted.

The Petcube has a pretty good picture and sound.

It's fun to watch, especially at night when the lights are off. You can watch their eyes shining as they dash around looking for their treats. We watch four eyes
