Works great for long absences
I use this for a cat. I purchased this feeder because my old timed feeder only had 5 compartments and this could only be used for less than 2 days. This has a larger hopper I can fill. Normally I have it set for 2 daily feedings, but add an early morning feeding for long absences. My only complaint is that I have to reprogram all the meals when I want to add or delete one. With my old compartmented one I could just turn specific feedings off and on.
What a relief!
I’m enjoying sleeping past Jasper’s morning feeding time. I can be gone and not worry about him being hungry. I can return home and know he wants attention, not food. He’s learning not to beg. I’ve used the feeder for two weeks now. It works perfectly. It is easy to adjust and to use manually. I recommend it unreservedly.
works great perfect for short trips away
I went away on a weekend business trip and decided on this feeder for my cat. Used it for a week before I was comfortable leaving. My cat tends to eat too quickly so I set the timer to give very small portions multiple times a day which helped immensely. Had my home camera on the feeder just to be safe while I was away and I’m glad to say it worked smoothly.
Great Feeder
This feeder works well. Fairly easy to figure out. Took a couple of days to determine "portion" size. Also, must realize the clock runs on military time. Had only a couple of weeks, but has worked well.
Our favorite purchase by far
We love this feeder and so does our cat. She used to wake us up at all hours of the night to be fed. She now can put that pressure on the feeder. We figured out that 4 portions is about a 1/4 cup so we set ours for 4 portions twice a day. It was so easy to understand and even change the settings if you have to.
Woks well after you get it setup
Took a while to figure out how to get this setup as no real clear instructions. The food well is large though and holds a log, and it's been working great since we bought it. Not as easy as some others to dispense on demand though. Overall good for what we need it for.
Piece of Mind
I have been wanting to get one of these for a long time however, for some reason I never ended up purchasing, Now I am glad I finally did! This automatic pet feeder is amazing ! The setup was easy and worked perfectly. I can decide the time and portion size to suit my dog. She was a little unsure of eating as the food was dispensing, but she got over that pretty quickly and soon would eat as it was dispensing each portion. I highly my recommend this feeder to any flurry owner.
it's worth it!
This has made my mornings a lot easier. If your cat is anything like mine and wakes you up much earlier than you'd like, this is the solution. It's also great because it measures out exact portion sizes. A worthy investment!
Feeder works well - cats don't
The cat feeder works very well. We have two cats and both are at the feeder the second they hear the food drop and the 6 am feeding allows me to sleep a little more. Unfortunately, one cat insists on eating first, leaving less for the other cat - who insists on an equal amount.
Auto feeder
They worked great while away for 3-4 days. I started using everyday when returned home too! It’s just getting the pets used to them.
