Precautions: 1.It is vitally important that you and your dog remain safe while learning during on-leash training. Your dog should be on a strong leash, long enough for him to attempt to chase an object, but short enough for him not to reach a road or other unsafe area. You must also be physically strong enough to restrain your dog when he tries to chase. Proper fit of the collar is important. A collar worn for too long or made too tight on the pets neck may cause skin damage. Ranging from redness to pressure ulcers; this condition is commonly known as bed sores.

If you are unsure whether this product is appropriate for your dog, please consult your veterinarian or certified trainer. For use with dogs over 6 months of age and over 8 lbs. DO NOT use when the dog or the collar is / are wet. Your dog should not vocalize or panic when receiving stimulation. Reposition the collar every two hours, use it no more than 12 hours per day.

Risk of skin damage. Please read and follow the instructions in this manual. A collar worn for too long or made too tight on the pet's neck may cause skin damage. Ranging from redness to pressure ulcers; this condition is commonly known as bed sores.
Avoid leaving the collar on the dog for more than 12 hours per day. When possible reposition the collar on the pet's neck every 1 to 2 hours. Check the fit to prevent excessive pressure; follow the instructions in this manual. Never connect a lead to the electronic collar; it will cause excessive pressure on the contacts. When using a separate collar for a lead, don't put pressure on the electronic collar. Wash the dog's neck area and the contacts of the collar weekly with a damp cloth. If a rash or sore is found, discontinue use of the collar until the skin has healed. If the condition persists beyond 48 hours, see your veterinarian. General Tips
Eliminate one misbehavior or teach one obedience command at a time. If you move too fast with training, your pet may become confused. Be consistent. Correct your pet every time he misbehaves. Unless you can supervise him, it is recommended that you restrict your pet from situations in which he has a history of misbehaving. However, setting up a situation as a training session can dramatically improve your chances of success. If your pet reacts to the tones by hiding or acting fearful, redirect his attention to a simple and appropriate behavior, such as the sit command. Pets should be at least 6 months old before using the Training Collar. Only let responsible family members use the Training Collar. It is not a toy! Other pets in hearing range will be affected by the training tones. Therefore, training sessions should be conducted out of hearing range of other pets. Troubleshooting
My pet does not respond when I press a button.
Make sure the Receiver Collar has been turned on. If your range has reduced from the first time you used the Remote Training Collar, the battery(s) may be low in either the Remote Transmitter or Receiver Collar. Terrain, weather, vegetation, transmission from other radio devices and many other factors can impact the amount of range you have with the unit. Test the Receiver Collar. See How to use the Test Light for details. Increase the Vibration/Shock Level. Refer to How to find the best Vibration/Shock Level for more information. Make sure the Receiver Collar's Contact Points are placed snugly against your pet's skin. Refer to Collar fitting for more information. The Receiver Collar will not turn on.
Make sure the Receiver Collar has been charged. For the initial charge, be sure to charge it for 4 hours. Subsequent charges only take 2-3 hours. The Receiver Collar is not responding to the Remote Transmitter. Verify the Receiver Collar is on. If the Indicator Light does not come on when any button is pressed on the Transmitter, ensure that the batteries are fully charged. If the first two solutions did not resolve your problem, see How to pair the Remote Transmitter & the Receiver Collar.

I’ve enjoyed the quality and how easy to use plus my dog got in pond with hers on and glad it didn’t damage it before I caught her!
I am so impressed with this system! I have two GSD's that are pretty stubborn. I had used a different system that worked fine enough but nothing like this one. It has an audible feature that honestly works better than the static setting. The only thing I would improve is the number of charging cables that come with the set. There was only one which did not allow charging all three units at the same time. However, I emailed the company and they sent me two additional cables and now, everything is perfect. I highly recommend this sytem!
I bought this thinking I could train my dog and some times it works and sometimes it doesn't.. It was a waste of money if you ask me
It’s nice but 1 thing it’s missing is a screen/button lock. Yes the remote turns off after some time to preserve the battery but can be easily awaken by accidentally pressing a button. Hopefully you don’t accidentally SHOCK your dog by pressing the button while in your pocket like I’ve done twice. Next thing, you can only change the SHOCK intensity by first, pressing the SHOCK button. That’s a problem if your dog is already wearing the collar because you don’t wanna SHOCK him unnecessarily. So if you want to increase or decrease intensity, you’ll have to take the collar off first. Same goes for the VIBRATION & SOUND modes.
So far this has done the job on our 2 stubborn bloodhounds. We only use the light, at night, or the sound and they come running. Only issues so far has been that you have to press the button multiple times to get it to work.
We have two pups at our house. The younger of the two listens very well, but the older one has always been a runner. I was leery of using one of these collars on count of him just running away anyways, but decided to try it in a controlled environment first. I put it on him at an enclosed park, and set him down. At first he just looked at me and started to walk away, so I called for him and beeped him. He didn't listen, so I started on vibration. He still kept going, so I started on the lowest of shock, and once he felt it, he turned around and came back to me. Now once he hears the beeps, he comes running, and I don't have to vibrate or shock. This collar set is nice as well, so I don't have to carry two controllers, it's just the one with multiple channels.
We purchased a single training collar for the puppy but then realized that our 9yo dog needs assistance also as the 9yo dog would bark and the puppy’s collar to be affected. I bought another single training collar for the older dog but what a pain with dogs and 2 collars. This is the answer gif 2 dogs with different training needs! It has definitely helped with the barking and our older dog has adapted to it well. (Guess you can teach old dogs new tricks)
I love that I only need one remote to control the collars for both of my dogs. Saves so much time and aggravation. These collars are great for training young dogs. You can choose from different levels of correction. As far as I've gotten so far has been the vibration - and it is enough to let the dog know she's doing the wrong thing. Great set. Charges easily.
I got these as a gift for my sister who has 2 Australian shepherds. One is still puppy and the other, a teenager. So she really need something that would work for both dogs. These don’t come with extra prongs though. They are quit long already but if your dog has super long fur, it might not be long enough. The range works very well. She lets them off leash and they roam. They still respond to vibrate or shock from a long distance.
Battery runs down fast and renders it useless. Dog has begun ignoring vibration on highest level. Shock is lame.
