Spot clean with warm soapy water. Outer perch cover is removable and machine washable

Remove from packaging. Locate bag with front handle, rubber floor protectors, and screws. Line up the handle and insert the screws from the outside of the ottoman to secure. Use the 2 provided rubber floor protectors to secure to the outer handle to protect wood floors. Locate bag with 4 ottoman legs and 4 felt floor protector pads. Flip ottoman on its side and screw in the four provided wheels. Secure felt pads to the bottom of the legs.

What are the dimensions? 18x18x18 doesn’t seem to include the stairs. How long are the stairs? Or how long are the stairs and ottoman combined? Is the ottoman 18x18x18?

It’s about 20 inches deep including handle, with the stairs folded up.19 inches tall and 18 inches wide. The stairs are 5 inches run, 4 inches rise. Length/depth is 33 inches with stairs unfolded.

Does the cover come off of the entire thing to be washed? Or is the "outer cover" just got the top perch?

The outer cover of the top perch cushion and the stair pads are machine washable. They should be hung to dry.

Is Gray the only color it comes in?

Hinges stripped out when unpacking it

it was very heavy and cumbersome to unpack, and the steps fell out (bruised my toe!) and immediately stripped out the hinge screws so the stair steps are no longer

it was very heavy and cumbersome to unpack, and the steps fell out (bruised my toe!) and immediately stripped out the hinge screws so the stair steps are no longer attached. I am going to try to see if I can glue them back in but it is likely made of particle board and is very unwieldy and the screws are in a hard to access location so not sure if that will works. The rest of it seems to be fairly sturdy, but the hinge connection needs a redesign. Not sure if is worth the money.

Definitely HEAVY

It’s pretty good quality. My only complaint is the hinges were not installed well and screws were stripped out so we had to drill new holes and replaced the hinges

It’s pretty good quality. My only complaint is the hinges were not installed well and screws were stripped out so we had to drill new holes and replaced the hinges with a more heavy duty hinge and screws. My mini dachshund can now see out the window.

Substantial, solid pet ottoman

Pleasantly surprised at how nicely made this ottoman/stairs is, a clever product. It's solid wood covered in fabric with a cushioned top. Storage basket for toys, etc., fits inside when the steps are out. Steps can fold into the ottoman and looks like a regular ottoman. Assembly was simple with good directions, less than 10 minutes. I liked the 2 sets of velcro pads for the steps that can be washed. I got this for our terrier to climb and sit on to look out the window, and she loves it because now it keeps her busy watching. A little more than some of the other steps but well worth it.
