How far apart is each suction cup when assembled?
How far does the top shelf "reach" beyond the bottom shelf to suction to the window? We have a 4inch window sill we'd need to clear.

To ensure the best fit, we recommend measuring the height just to be sure the tree will in fact reach the window. The top shelf is larger than the bottom shelf, so it allows the top shelf to reach into some of those deeper windows.
is it possible to have these replaced? or are there any recommendations for replacing the sisal posts. a year and a half later, our cats who love this scratching post have destroyed the Sisal. it's quite funny but they do love this perch and it sits perfectly against our kitchen window.

At this time, replacement posts can be found directly through the manufacturer's website.
Is it possible to by another and extend the post so that it is taller than 42?

Extending this perch is not recommended. It is designed in a way to be sturdy at the height it is. Adding extra posts could make it less stable, and heavier. The suction cups were not tested on a heavier cat tree.
