Bought this for my senior cat as a supportive supplement. She tried it, but didn’t like the hardness and sharp corners that seemed to have hurt her gum. She spit it back out whole and wouldn’t try this treat again. Gave a few to my 2 young adult female cats. They tried one, decided that they were too hard and sharp, then would try again. Then I gave a few to my 2 large, young adult cats. One ate them without problem, but didn’t want more; very unusual, because he loves treats (Temptations)! The other one, gobbled them up and looked for more!

My Cat Loves the Taste!

I started integrating these treats into my cat's daily routine when she turned six this past April. Earlier in the year, I read online that roughly 60% of cats age six and over begin to develop symptoms of arthritis. I have always tried to prioritize preventative joint care with all of my pets, so I figured I could start my cat on these treats now as a part of a proactive approach to her overall care. The first thing that I noticed when feeding my cat these treats is that she ABSOLUTELY loves the taste! While I have not tried other brands of joint supplements with my cat, I have tried giving her calming treats from other brands before, which she usually turned her nose up at (I had to mash them up into wet food to make them palatable to her). In contrast, my cat is always excited to eat these, and she comes running when she hears me opening the jar I keep them in. Since my cat is relatively young, I haven't necessarily noticed her slowing down, as she is still quite spunky and playful. She still hops up and down from tall surfaces and does quite the acrobatic jumps when we play with her teaser toys, so it is safe to say that her mobility is holding up well; I will continue feeding her these treats daily to keep the pep in her step! For reference, my cat is a domestic short-hair that fluctuates between 10 and 11 pounds. My only recommendation for this product is to be mindful of the other treat sources your cat is getting if you incorporate these treats into your routine, to ensure you aren't overloading their diet with an excess of treats.

My poor baby girl Zena is now 13 years old and although she is very happy playing with her toys, I noticed she was limping alot anymore, which broke my heart to see her suffer like that. Our pet sitter noticed this issue as well and suggested Pet Honesty which is what he uses for his cat, he told me how well it worked for his cat. So I decided to give it a try and my Zena not only loves the taste but I am very happy to say she is doing so much better now. I actually saw a significant change in her within the first 2 weeks. So I have to say that I do recommend this product.

All my cats love these!

I bought these for my 9 yr old kitty who has early arthritis but ALL my cats love these!! They greedily eat these like regular treats- so they must taste great!

I bought these for my 9 yr old kitty who has early arthritis but ALL my cats love these!! They greedily eat these like regular treats- so they must taste great! The directions advise one piece per pound, but I give less to one of my kitties because she has a sensitive tummy and these and the vitamins version from this brand gave her soft stools. Vet says these are great for cats but can be very rich for some kitties tummies. So I lowered the amount she gets daily and she's fine now!

Wow! What a difference!

I bought these for my 12 year old cat, Salem, when I noticed him crying in pain from jumping onto the bed and onto a table. He usually sleeps on my bed upstairs every night and was so uncomfortable he was sleeping downstairs. I chose these because Salem won’t eat soft treats and I thought capsules would be a hassle. He loves these treats and in just 4 days I’m seeing a huge difference! He’s happy, playful, energetic, and is joining me on the bed again!

We have two senior kitties, one of whom has started showing signs of arthritis and/or sore, creaky joints. I ordered these treats for them, and they enjoy having a little plateful every afternoon. I also added some fish oil designed for pets, which I squirt onto the can of wet food in the morning before dishing it up. While I haven't seen a dramatic change in the first week, the fact that the kitties like to eat them means we've passed the biggest hurdle!
