How are the safety features?

Ineffective at handling Urine

I’ve tried multiple different types of litter and it’s ineffective at scooping all of them. Pretty litter (crystal based): The motion that it takes causes a pool of urine to build up in the base of the robot. Petkit’s pellet litter: This is their own litter and has major issues with clumping. The motion that robot takes does not consistently actually scoop the litter as most of it ends up stuck to the bottom of the litter area or on the walls of the robot. Arm & Hammer clay based clumping litters: Same issues as the pellet litter. After only 1 week of thoroughly cleaning the device, it’s already disgustingly covered in dirty litter, and I have to manually put my hand (with paper towel) in there to scrape off the wet litter that sticks to everything. As a side note, the camera is also completely ineffective. It forgot who my pet was since she lost 0.2 of a pound and consistently thinks that humans walking by it are cats. This has privacy concerns as a result since it will start recording you, thinking you are a cat. Advise strongly to consider another litter robot company.

It works great so far

It does not smell bad at all. The only downside is that my cat sometimes can’t jump on time and she ends up peeing outside (but she is very old). So I was looking

It does not smell bad at all. The only downside is that my cat sometimes can’t jump on time and she ends up peeing outside (but she is very old). So I was looking for a free access one for her. Anyways I think this is a really good little box. You don’t have to worry about it at all , the frequency to clean the box is not as often as well!!

The Petkit Purobot Max Pro is hands down the most advanced litter box I’ve ever used. This thing is packed with high-tech features that make cat care incredibly easy and convenient. First, the built-in camera is a game-changer. I can check the app on my phone and see exactly when my cat enters, which gives me peace of mind (and a little entertainment!). Speaking of the app, it’s super user-friendly and keeps me updated on everything—from litter levels to cleaning cycles. Since it connects to WiFi, I can manage settings from anywhere. The self-emptying function is fantastic. No more scooping—this thing automatically empties waste into a sealed bag, keeping odors to a minimum. Plus, the included deodorizers make a big difference in keeping the area smelling fresh. It’s also surprisingly quiet, so it doesn’t scare my cat or disrupt the household. Size-wise, it’s impressive. It’s big enough for large cats, which is a huge plus because many automatic litter boxes are too cramped. Petkit even provides starter litter bags, though no litter, but they have their own brand that I’m planning to try. Overall, my cat seems interested and comfortable using it, which is the biggest win. If you’re looking for a smart, hassle-free litter box, the Purobot Max Pro is absolutely worth it!

This is the luxury litter box! I can't believe all the bells and whistles! It moves and scoops the waste into a garbage bag. You don't have to do anything! It even is set up so you just pull the bag shut and you don't even have to mess with the kitty waste. This thing is really cool! The whole family was amazed and our cat must feel like a king! The only thing that was difficult was the set up, but that could have been user error.It is surprisingly huge, so you need to have a space that is deicated for this luxury litter box. Those were the only issues I had with it. It really is amazing. It makes the grossest part of having a cat, not a problem anymore. It even deodarizes the litter box. It is luxurious! I am in awe of this product!!!

Weight Input and Accuracy: When setting up, you need to input your cat’s weight accurately. The weight measurements are not always accurate which can affect the box's cat identification performance.
