This is a nice heavy ball. My gd is a fairly large dog and she loves her balls but won't have anything to do with this one. It is very heavy. I purchased it because her sister a pit makes mincemeat out of her balls and toys and this is for heavy chewers. She won't have anything to do with it either? It's not the ball, it's the dogs.

The product is made from something that is definitely chew resistant. It’s heavy, making it durable. I really like the hole In the center in case of accidental swallowing,

The product is made from something that is definitely chew resistant. It’s heavy, making it durable. I really like the hole In the center in case of accidental swallowing, it really puts a worrier like myself at ease. The downside of this product is it’s kind of boring. One of my Shiba Inu’s plays fetch and will do so with this ball. But both my Shiba Inu’s got bored with it fairly quick. The chew resistance isn’t really needed in my opinion as this is not a choice, they choose to chew on. But if you’re looking for a durable ball with safety features, for a dog who enjoys chewing a ball this would be it.

This toy is advertised for tough chewers...and I totally agree! I am always skeptical about claims like this. I have 4 large, rather crazy dogs that tear through toys quickly. If a toy lasts a couple days, I consider it a success! This toy has lasted about 2 weeks now and is still in great condition - no chunks missing and the strap is still in place. I really like the knotted strap. Our bloodhound loves to play but he goes NUTS when you grab his toy. This is the perfect thing to get hold of and launch super quickly to avoid an 80 lb dog launching himself at his toy. It's been a lot of fun.

This is a terrific little ball! I’ll admit I was expecting it to be bigger, but probably I just didn’t read the description thoroughly. It’s rather small and very dense, other than the hollow area going through it. It’s also fairly heavy because of the density. It has these terrific little grooves in it so that both of my dogs can carry it easily. My 18 pound little doodle can carry it in her small mouth because of the grooves. My 65 pound big doodle doesn’t need the grooves. If I want, I could put some peanut butter or something in the grooves to make it more appealing for him. Both dogs really like the ball. I think they like the weight because they feel like they’re really playing with something! LOL They both took to it very quickly. It’s holding up really well and has been totally durable so far. No chunks have been chewed out of it or anything. I’m sending a couple of photos to show how big the ball is compared to both of my dogs. The black dog is the smaller one. This ball is definitely one of their new favorites!

The PetKORE FloTek ball is a tough and well made ball It’s not too heavy and not too light; not too big and not too little. It has a good design and is easy to throw. So why didn’t I give it 5 stars instead of 4? Well, for whatever reason, Been had absolutely zero interest in playing with this ball! As hard as I tried to engage him, he just didn’t seem to care. I am going to pass it along to a friend of mine and if she reports back about her dog’s experience with the FloTek ball, then I will come back and add to my review.
