Will this pump replace a catit pump

This pump fits all Petmate Regular and Deluxe Fresh Flow models.

why is the replacement pump not the same size as the original ?

The replacement pump and the original pump are the exact same size. The only difference is the replacement is now the new model and it doesn't include the water adjustment piece.

My cat's Pet Low Fountain desperately needed a new pump

The old pump was a couple of years old. The electrical wires that connect to the pump became exposed and were shorting out the pump. My cat loves her fountain and

The old pump was a couple of years old. The electrical wires that connect to the pump became exposed and were shorting out the pump. My cat loves her fountain and didn't want to drink from it until we put the new pump in. I was hurt disappointed that I was not able to purchase only the pump and the cord without the plug since there was nothing wrong with the plug itself. Overall my cat and I are now happy again. The new pump is quiet and my little one can drink from the fountain to her heart's content. I also wish that replacement pump had the little adjustable water flow lever.

Purchased in March of 2023, September of 2024 and it has officially stopped working. It started making a lot of noise, on and off, after only a few months. I thought

Purchased in March of 2023, September of 2024 and it has officially stopped working. It started making a lot of noise, on and off, after only a few months. I thought the one that came with the dish stopped working after barely a year , because the dish itself was ten years old, but no. (No cats were interested in it at the time of purchase. Probably due to the noise level.) Seems to be the life span of the pump. It's not a money thing, as it's not particularly expensive, it's the wastefulness.

This replacement pump i had high hopes for, original pumped burned out in a couple weeks, sadly so did this pump.
