It will fit the basic Petflow water fountain model.

If you take off the top piece, that looks like a water pacer strainer, then it will fit in the regular Petmate water fountain. They didn't adjust the height of the spigot for us to use this feature. Luckily it can be easily removed, without breaking any part of the pump. It's not a bubbling stream, but the flow could be a tad stronger. The cats don't stare at it or play with the stream, but drink from this bowl often. The pump is basically the same as what I started with. I had taken that piece off of the old one too. Back then it was because the spout was too high inside the reservoir, and the pacer caused drops of water to shoot outside of the fountain. The pump makes a little bit of noise. I unplug it at night because it isn't far from my bed. I'm glad that Chewy offered a better deal. BTW, the pump gets slimy inside and you can't take it apart to clean it. Eventually the build-up causes it to malfunction. Not sure what to do to sanitize the inside of the pump without hurting its parts. There wasn't information with the box to tell me.

Worthless junk

I purchased 2, just incase, because it runs 24/7, and the original pump crapped out in 6 months. This one didn't last much longer, and my back up pump, doesn't work at all. And the reason I know this, I had to swap them out this morning, and boom, NOTHING! So now I'm back to an open tank of water with no filtration. WASTE OF MONEY!!!

Petmate Replacement

I was happy to find this pump to replace an old one, as my cats love the water dish. However, after installing the new one, it makes a buzzing sound and the cats won't go near the water bowl. I've tried repositioning it and everything I can think of. I will be asking Chewy to replace it with a new one.

Works as Expected!

The pump works well. It's easy to install. My 4 cats love the fountain! They all have their special spot to drink from. You do have to clean the filter regularly with 4 cats shedding. I think they drink more using this fountain. I fill it with filtered water from the fridge. Taste matters.

Great Filters for Petmate Water Fountains

These work great! I love the 12 pack! It's very convenient and economical! Customer service helped me pick out the right filters for my older and recently discontinued version of my Petmate Fresh Flow Water Fountain. They couldn't have been nicer! They saved me money, by not having to replace the entire fountain. They were just wonderful. I couldn't be happier with Chewy!

Easy to install

I have Petmate watering systems and after a few years of use the pump went out on one of them. I found what I needed at Chewy. Once I received it, it was as simple as taking it out of the box and installing it. East!! Works great.

Feeling Lucky

We've had the cats waterfall drinking fountain for quite awhile. I feel really lucky I was able to find a replacement water pump for it.

didn't last 60 days

I've had a Petmate fountain for years, at least 10. My most recent pump lasted me over 5 years and it only stopped working because the wire actually separated from it. I just ordered a replacement filter in June and it's now August and it has already stopped working. What gives with that? Chewy is fantastic about things like this but Petmate needs to check their QC.

Excellent pump

The pump for my Petmate fountain finally stopped working. I ordered this pump to replace it. It fits the fountain, pumps water at a great rate and is completely silent.
