What is the inside floor measurements for the 40 inch.

The internal dimensions of the 19-inch kennel are 16.2 x 12 x 9 inches , the 24-inch kennel's internal dimensions are 21.5 x 15 x 13.5 inches, the 26-inch kennel's internal dimensions are 23.75 x 17 x 15.5 inches, the 28-inch kennel's internal dimensions are 24.25 x 18.25 x 19.5 inches , and the 40-inch kennel's internal dimensions are 36.25 x 24.75 28.8 inches. When measuring your pet for size, keep in mind the kennel's rounded edges and calculate accordingly.
Warning:proposition 65:reasons-titanium dioxide,other chemicals is it going to make my animals sick? What proof can you provide to me that this item is safe for my animals? Thank you for any information you can provide!

This kennel does come with the Proposition 65 and is toxic free.
How tall and long is this crate? Will a 14.5" tall and 18" long cat fit in it comfortably

To locate the dimensions, click the “Size” tab, next to the “Description” and “Instructions” tabs, just under the product photos. Measurements are listed as length x width x height. To select the best size for your pet we recommend that you measure the length of your pet from nose to tail. When measuring the length, be sure to add approximately 2-4 inches to the overall length, depending on the size of your pet. To determine the height of the crate you will need, measure your pet from the top of the head to the ground. If your dog has naturally erect ears, measure from the tip of the ears. To obtain the width of your crate, add approximately 2 inches for smaller pets and 4 inches for larger dogs.

Different Design 24"

Just wanted to warn other shoppers that products I received (December 3, 2022) look different from the picture online. 1: No storage compartments on top 2: No latch closures, only screws I reported the issues to Chewy. I can live without the top compartments but I need the latch closures for easy assembling/disassembling. Also they should make a handle heftier and better secured. It's a study kennel otherwise. Love - Door is powder coated - No rust to worry - Recycled plastic - Environmentally conscious - Fits medium to large cat comfortably - Great for longer travel

Great value

This carrier replaces a larger twice as heavy version. The unit assembled easily and will meet out needs. The only reason that I gave it a 4 was the photo showed quick latches on the sides, the unit I received had only bolts with fasteners. Works fine if you do not need to disassemble / reassemble quickly.

not as pictured

I'm thinking that Petmate must have redesigned this item and Chewy has not updated the website photos. This is the second time I have ordered what I think would be the "right" one, just like my other one, with clips and cubbies. Not only did this not have the "clip" fasteners (only the bolt/wingnut, but there were plenty of them) it didn't have the little closeable cubbies (to put the spare bolts/nuts) up top.

does the job

My original cat carrier wasn't tall enough and has been uncomfortable for smudge's recent string of vet visits. I wish this carrier had a top door--he's not resistant to being in the carrier, but it's a nice option and allows for contact with less chance of escape while waiting--but it does the job and feels pretty sturdy. I do recommend tightening the front-most and then back-most screws, followed by altering sides with the other screws. It wasn't overly difficult, but the top doesn't have a lip so you're connecting two flat pieces that easily get out of alignment with each other instead of two pieces that fit into each other.

Disappointed

For the price, this crate seems flimsy. One of the little black covers on top was broken on arrival. But I wouldn’t use it so not such a problem. But clamps to hold top to bottom part were hard to use, barely caught hold of the bottom part and were hard to get clamped. It is useable for what I need it for but I would not order it again. Certainly not rugged.

Nothing Fancy, but Satisfactory

I just needed a smaller crate to place by my bed for my 3 month Doodle pup, so this fits the bill. I was concerned about the less sturdy plastic, but it works fine for this use. I especially like the secure fit between the top and bottom parts of the crate - not just a click-on, but also provided screws for more security.
