seems fairly sturdy

Lots of room

I love the pet mate kennels. They are great quality and easy to use. But I should have measured my car first. It’s too big for my SUV, but I can use it in kitten

I love the pet mate kennels. They are great quality and easy to use. But I should have measured my car first. It’s too big for my SUV, but I can use it in kitten rescue. I will order the next size down to fit in my car for Magneto. He was dumped in my community by the people he loved, so he is not a fan of being in a carrier in the car. He gets VERY stressed out! This makes it difficult to take him to the vet. So I bought a bigger kennel to put a litter box in and such so he can be more comfortable.

My 6 month old Newfoundland stayed in one of these kennels when I had to board her while on vacation. The owner said he didn't have any issues kennel training her

My 6 month old Newfoundland stayed in one of these kennels when I had to board her while on vacation. The owner said he didn't have any issues kennel training her so I asked him about the kennel style he used and he showed me a 40" version. So I immediately looked for a bigger one on Chewy as my pup is a giant breed so I found this 48" one. Now it is big but it doesn't take up as much room as the 48" black wire crate we had. The 48" has plenty of space for her to stretch out and sit up. She'll go in this kennel on her own to take a nap (never ever did that with the wire one). So far she's sleeping through the night in it as well. She's only had 1 potty accident over night since in past 3 weeks - it's easy to clean. This kennel has been a game changer in helping her get crated trained. I also want to add that this size is hard to find - it was pricey (double the cost of the 40") but has been worth every penny. The quality is excellent, it was very easy to put together (my 10 yr old did it). Thanks Chewy for carrying the 48" size!!

Not Quite as Described

Ordered this kennel to match one my son already had. The description shows the back as solid but it is not, it has additional ventilation holes punched out. Also

Ordered this kennel to match one my son already had. The description shows the back as solid but it is not, it has additional ventilation holes punched out. Also the color is not linen or beige, it is more taupe or brownish. This must be the newer version and Chewy just hasn't updated their listing. The issue I have is that I ordered this specifically for their description, even calling customer service to verify that was how I would receive it. I could have saved $55 by ordering from another place at the time but their description was exactly like the one I received Chewy instead. Chewy you need to keep your website up to date. When the suppliers change their items you need to reflect that in your descriptions. Otherwise it is a great kennel with all the same features as the older model and I just have to deal with change. Had the description been correct I would have given it 5 stars as it is still a good product, just don't expect it to be exactly as the description

We have four Persian cats and periodically need to kennel them for things like carpet cleaning and so forth. Also need to be able to safely transport them in case

This is a well made kennel that gives our approximately 3kg cats room to relax, and four fit across the back seat of the SUV.
