What size do you need for a regular sized domestic house cat?

The best way to select the perfect kennel size for your pet is to measure them from the top of their head to the floor, then from the tip of their nose to the base of the tail. The height of the kennel should be 3-4 inches taller and longer than your pet so there's ample space to fully stand up, easily turn around and comfortably lie all the way down. The 19-inch kennel measures 19 x 12.3 x 10.8 inches and can hold up to 10 pounds of weight, the 24-inch kennel measures 24.1 x 16.7 x 14.5 inches and can hold up to 20 pounds of weight.

Is this great for road trips for on the road for hours to a hotel

I have a really small pet mate van kennel portable dog and cat plastic kennel. Height 9 inches width 7 inches one of the screws on of the 4 corners is missing. How can I get one?

Very small and top does not detach from base

Disappointed that the top does not un-click from the base. I didn’t discover this until reading the assembly directions and by then it was too late to return it

The carrier is very small, she doesn’t have room to turn around in it. And it’s difficult to coax her to go into it thru the door. I’ll keep this for emergencies, but luckily I still have her old carrier that DOES have a removable top. Cannot recommend this Petmate one, sadly.

Perfect for travel and our storm shelter
