What size do you need for a regular sized domestic house cat?

The best way to select the perfect kennel size for your pet is to measure them from the top of their head to the floor, then from the tip of their nose to the base of the tail. The height of the kennel should be 3-4 inches taller and longer than your pet so there's ample space to fully stand up, easily turn around and comfortably lie all the way down. The 19-inch kennel measures 19 x 12.3 x 10.8 inches and can hold up to 10 pounds of weight, the 24-inch kennel measures 24.1 x 16.7 x 14.5 inches and can hold up to 20 pounds of weight.
Does the 19" kennel use screws or clamps to fasten top and bottom halves?

The two halves should be secured together with the seven snap latches on the top half. It is advisable to check the latches periodically to ensure they remain secure. For airline travel, use of wing nuts and bolts is required.
