The instructions say to reach out to them for quality issues so I am sending them and email to see if they will replace the piece, but this is concerning. If it can't handle being put together, can it possibly handle the use of cats walking on them? Its also very very smoothe with no grip mat, which I should have realized from the picture but I didn't expect it to be as slippery as it is. If the seller sees this, I strongly recommend adding a grippy mat to the tops so that cats don't slide off of it when they jump on it.
