Trusted good food

I have had my princess on pet plate food for 7 years now. Moist food in the AM and in the PM she gets the fresh baked dry kibble and she absolutely loves them both

I have had my princess on pet plate food for 7 years now. Moist food in the AM and in the PM she gets the fresh baked dry kibble and she absolutely loves them both. Our vet can’t get over the wonderful healthy 9year old that she is. I totally believe it’s because of this wonderful Pet plate food

Not at all what I expected from pet plate

I have two senior labs, who generally will eat most things but not this stuff. Along with another reviewer my first thought when opening the package was why are

I have two senior labs, who generally will eat most things but not this stuff. Along with another reviewer my first thought when opening the package was why are there so many berries, in particular, cranberries. The cranberries are like hollow balloons with no content inside. They are very large and neither dog will eat them, they just spit them out. There is also an over abundance of blueberries, which are hard little nuggets that my dogs do eat only because of the very small size. I had high hopes for this food as it “looks” good other than having too many berries, but neither dog appears to like the texture or the flavor. I don’t know which one. I do know that the manufacturer needs to consider eliminating the cranberries as they are a waste of time or finding a different way to process them so they retain some of the goodness that is inside the berry while being appealing to the dog. At this price point I expect much better from pet plate.

This is the only food my dog will eat, and specifically the beef formula. I love the way that it's made and that it has all healthy, human-grade ingredients.

Lots of berries!

This is decent food and the price is certainly better than a lot of other air dried foods.... but, I kind of figured out why. My dog also leaves all those berries

This is decent food and the price is certainly better than a lot of other air dried foods.... but, I kind of figured out why. My dog also leaves all those berries all over the floor. It was either pick them up twice a day or remove them out of the food and once that's done, you have about 2/3rds of your food left. I just got tired of cleaning it all up. Back to paying more for another air dried food, but a food that my dog will fully appreciate.

We mix the dry food with the wet and she goes nuts! The food seems to be very high quality, actual food real food rather than over processed garbage. No wonder she didn’t like her previous food!

My dogs enjoy the kibbles...

but unfortunately they will not eat the berries. After they are done eating, they leave a pile of berries next to the bowl. Since this is human grade food, I thought

Since this is human grade food, I thought about removing the berries from the kibble and add them too my cereal, but they have a slight dog food flavor. Possibly the makers of Petsplate could integrate the berries into the kibble pieces? If they did this, I would continue to purchase this dog food.

I wish my little girl would readily eat this. She's just so finicky. This is the only type of food I let her eat - air-dried with really good ingredients. This brand is one of many I've purchased. For particular reasons, I will not let my dogs eat food in the form of kibbles, raw, freeze-dried or canned. Just top quality air-dried. She'll eat this - but not immediately. And, she always leaves the fruit pieces (drat!).

Well, whatever the pretty little berries are in this food, my Labrador, yes, she is a labrador! Won’t eat them. She picks them out and leaves them on the floor. Otherwise, I love this food. She eats every other bit of it just not the little red berries. Very disappointing. It looks like really nice quality food. If you read this review, I say try it anyway maybe your dog will not be the brat that my dog is! It really does look like nice Food. I tried to explain to her what antioxidants are and she didn’t get it.
