Feeding Instructions
FreshBaked: Feed 1/3 cup per 10 lbs of body weight as a complete meal twice per day for adult dogs.
FreshCooked: As a Complete Meal - For dogs up to 10 lbs, serve up to 6 oz of food daily. For dogs over 10 lbs, serve 4 oz for every 10 lbs of body weight daily. As a Topper - Mix with your dog's current food starting at about 25% of required calories, adjusting as needed.
Puppies, and dogs who are pregnant or lactating may need up to twice the amount of calories for the same bodyweight.
PetPlate’s entrees can be fed as a complete meal or as a topper. For a successful transition as a complete meal, we recommend mixing PetPlate with your pup’s current food and gradually increasing the amount of PetPlate until your dog is eating 100% PetPlate. For the first few days, PetPlate should make up ¼ of each meal. If your dog is not easily adjusting or experiences minor tummy troubles, stay on that transition stage for an extra few days to allow them more time to adjust. As your dog adjusts, continue adding a greater ratio of PetPlate, until they have fully transitioned.

We have 3 yorkies, 2 are 10 years old and then there is the baby yorkie at 19months. We have been feeding her PetPlate since she was 2 months old. She love it
We have 3 yorkies, 2 are 10 years old and then there is the baby yorkie at 19months. We have been feeding her PetPlate since she was 2 months old. She love it and her energy is off the charts as well as a beautiful, shiney coat. We also use the dried fruits and veggies mix. Yes, it is a little more expensive but so worth it.

I am super impressed with the palatablity of this food. My chihuahuas are beyond picky but one liked the chicken immediately and the other liked the beef. I could see all the yummy vegetables and they were soft and easy to chew. My one critique would be that perhaps the veggies could be cubed a little smaller for tiny dogs....mine are put off by anything that looks a bit too big for them so i had to chop them a little. I would also say the ration of meat to vegetables leans heavy on the veggies. Ingredients are hjgh quality and look human grade. I was also really impressed with the way this food was packed and shipped. It was still frozen on arrival and packed absolutely beautifully. Highly recommended.

I am so impressed with this product. First of all, the frozen food came frozen even though I forgot about the box on my porch for over an hour in the Texas heat
I am so impressed with this product. First of all, the frozen food came frozen even though I forgot about the box on my porch for over an hour in the Texas heat. It was packaged well with dry ice and was still rock solid when I brought it in. Second, the wet food looks like food. It honestly looks like thanksgiving stuffing and if I didn’t know it was dog food, I might try it. Third, my dog loves it. LOVES IT. I have a picky eater who refuses to eat plain kibble unless he is famished and I put the smallest amount of this on his kibble and he ate the whole thing. I’m sure it’s expensive but if you have a picky eater, it might be worth it. I cannot wait to try different kinds.

Petplate frozen human-grade dog food is the bomb! We love that its made with 100% human ingredients ....and it LOOKS and SMELLS like it is human food. Big chunks of meat, whole green beans and diced carrots! Real food! It smelled good! My dogs loved that it came out of the fridge. They really thought they were getting something special! The kibble is pretty amazing, too, as it had whole dried blueberries and other yums inside. I did a 50/50 mix of the fresh, refrigerated food and the kibble and my dogs were in heaven. Their favorite was the chicken, but they loved it all. It came boxed on dry ice and was frozen. Just pop it in your freezer until needed and then thaw in the fridge. Plus the containers are resealable, so if your pup doesn't need the whole container you can easily seal it up and its ready to go for the next meal. Couldn't be easier! You better believe my dogs had a great time licking the empty container, too. :) We just loved the variety, the delicious ingredients and nutrition, and the convenience of these Petplate meals. These meals made for happy, tail-wagging, energetic dogs.

To say my girl is picky is an understatement. She won't touch kibble and only eats canned food when I add chicken to it. She recently had a serious surgery to her knee, and the painkillers and sedation have made her uninterested in everything. Until I discovered PetPlate! She not only scarfs down the fresh (frozen) variety, but she'll even eat the dry variety if I mix them together. Till now, she has always refused any food that has fruits or vegetables included. Not any more! She licks the bowl clean. Bonus... her soft poop improved literally overnight after eating PetPlate. This food is pricey but it is worth every penny to have my dog like it and know it's healthy for her. Also, the packaging it shipped in was excellently done. The food arrived perfectly frozen, so nothing to worry about there.

This dog food definitely looks like a stew that humans would want to eat: the veggie chunks are identifiable, the texture overall is thick and meaty. I offered about 1/4 cup at a time to my 63-lb Australian Shepherd mix, as I was just trying it out at first to see if he liked it. He LOVED it and didn’t mind that it was cold from the fridge. The packages are well-portioned, well-packed, and arrived in a shipper that kept them frozen solid, so I have full confidence in the safety of the fresh food. Overall, if fresh-cooked meals are what you want to feed your dog, but you don’t have time or recipes to make it yourself, this food is perfect for you!
