I needed to heat this up and put “gravy” on it before my guy would eat it. In the foods defense, I’ve got a picky eater. He will like stuff today and tomorrow he treats it like I’m feeding him poison or something. The drama of a chihuahua. My other dog loves it. Very convenient in the tubs.

Venison is a high quality protein that is low in fat. My whippet has a very sensitive tummy and I love Pet Plate for him. I won’t be able to order this for a few months as our temps are triple digit - I would love to see, and be willing to pay for, an option for additional dry ice in my package. While I could do a large purchase earlier in the year, I risk losing the product to tropical storm/hurricane aftermath. I hope Pet Plate and Chewy will consider an option to purchase additional dry ice.

My dog needs the venison because it’s low fat. I have no complaints about the quality of this food. However, my last shipment arrived completely defrosted. I was waiting for the delivery guy so it didn’t sit outside at all. I made the mistake to put it in the freezer. My dog got sick and obviously I threw out 11 containers of venison. Also, the expiration date on the gently baked beef is 6/26/2025. I just received the 3 boxes. Please add more dry ice and check the expiration dates. You have amazing customer service! Thank you

Amazing choice

The reason for only two stars is that my local FedEx carrier can’t seem to find my house and delivered it to a neighbor’s house on a hot day. Chewy is ultimately responsible when they use a carrier to get their product to the right place.
