I don't even use this monthly because of other ways to keep fleas from my dog. I do use it when we'll be in wooded areas for ticks. It works very well, and we live in Florida where it doesn't really get come enough to kill anything. I use it as a preventative. I have only seen fleas on my dog once - after we moved into an apartment already infested with them. Treated my dog, the apartment, and had the landlord treat the yard. I also made certain to vacuum every single day to help rid the apartment of fleas and their eggs. Didn't take any time to get rid of them. For the people having issues after using the product, maybe treat your home and yard as well. You can't expect one product to kill all of the fleas in your home. You have to treat everything.

Would not recommend

We put this on our dogs almost 2 weeks ago and they were still itching like crazy. Looked them over, and the fleas are still making themselves at home on them. Definitely
