Excellent made
This review is to help people out for dogs that are around 27-30lbs I would go for the medium I have a boston terrier that is very broad shoulders but slims toward his backside the large was way to big so I'm waiting on the medium size coat. Chewy is very helpful in exchanging your pets needs. Pictures of my pet will show one how to try to pick the best size for an in between dog.
Fantastic Customer Service
I recently ordered an insulated jacket for my dog. When it arrived, I tried it on him and it was too big. I emailed Chewy to find out how to exchange it for a smaller one. Instead of sending back the larger one, Chewy said they would just credit it back to my account and that I could keep the larger jacket or donate it to a pet organization, rescue, etc. They even took the time to put the correct size jacket into my shopping cart so I could just go into my account and check out. AMAZING customer service that you don't find anymore. Chewy's response time to my email was lightning fast (and it was Saturday) and my problem was solved pretty much immediately. I was really blown away with my experience with them. Thanks, Chewy, you know how to do it right.
Calgary Dog Jacket
Nice quality. We ordered because of the where the velcro straps were located. Our other coats had velcro that came together under the dog's belly and it was always getting wet, muddy and losing grip. The design on this jacket is great! Although we still get water and mud it can be dried and cleaned without messing up the velcro. The fit is good. We've tried a lot of jackets as we are dog walkers and avid hikers and this is by far one of the best so far.

Coat Pulls Over Head
I didn't realize I had to place the coat over Mia's head. This doesn't work for it. Coat is attractive and wraps around her belly - which is nice. Her current coat doesn't do this. However, I hope to return the coat because pulling it over her head freaks her out.
Nice coat in the snow
Glad I got this coat for Charlie. After ordering the wrong size, was told to donate to a shelter or someone who would need it. We took it and other items to the county shelter we adopted Charlie from. Ordered a 2nd coat which fits him perfectly, it arrived a couple of days before a snowstorm that lasted three days straight. Works great for him. It is easy to put on. Have not tried the leg bands as I don't think he would care for them.
Excellent rain coat and jacket for my Elkhound Bri
I purchased this raincoat and jacket for my 45 pound Norwegian Elkhound Brittany mix. She tends to be more of a medium so make sure you measure your dog and check the size chart prior to ordering. The quality seems very high and I expect to get many seasons from this coat. It has very reflective details which come in handy at night. It goes on and off quite easily with basically a Velcro strap holding it on and straps for the hind legs if you choose to use them. It also can accept multiple types of collars including halters.
Perfect fit
I have an Akita Shepherd mix weighing 110 pounds so I bought the XXL and it fits perfectly. His measurements were: neck 21", chest 38" length 28". Very rugged, durable material and nicely made. He's always been very tough when it comes to the weather with his thick coat, but being 11 years old I was concerned for him being outside below 20 degrees and he definitely prefers the outdoors.
Love this Jacket
This jacket has all the features we needed--access to hooking up a leash to a harness, rain-repellant jacket, comfortable and warm to wear in rainy and cold weather, and our dog is able to maneuver in it. She likes her new jacket!
Love this coat!
This coat is awesome! It’s easy to put on and it stays on. We chose this coat because we use a harness when walking our girl, and this coat has a generous zipper for the harness ring to slip through. It took her a little while to get used to the elastic around the back legs but by the end of our walk she barely noticed them there. For those of you wondering about size, our Roxie is 65 pounds and we ordered an XL and it’s a great fit. Roxie highly recommend this coat!
