This dog coat isn't designed to use with a harness. It is designed to be used with a standard collar.

What is the difference between Juneau, Kodiak, and Calcary styles?

Besides the different color options, the Calgary jacket is the only one out of the 3 that features a two-way zipper on the back that ensures easy access to a harness.

A nice coat but not for hounds or other deep-chested breeds

This was one of many coats I ordered for my 80lb American Foxhound. It’s a nice looking coat but the sizing did not work for my athletic, slender dog with a deep chest. I ordered the large size since the neck and back measurements fit, but the chest strap was way too short. As anyone with a hound knows, finding a coat that fits properly is next to impossible. This one had to go back. As always, Chewy’s customer service was fantastic.

I like the fact that the coat fastens on the back, not under the belly.

My dog has longer fur, and it gets caught in the velcro fasteners. This coat is nice, because the velcro goes *over* the back of the coat, thus the fur is out of

My dog has longer fur, and it gets caught in the velcro fasteners. This coat is nice, because the velcro goes *over* the back of the coat, thus the fur is out of the way. And because of the styling of the coat, her belly is protected from the snow. While I can't say Trixie is crazy about the coat, I think it's more because she's not accustomed to a coat that goes over her head. My only suggestion to the manufactures of any coat like this, is to make the hole for the dog's head a little bigger, esp if they are furry.

Kodiak plaid coat

The coat is well made and easy to put on my dog. A size Large fit her well, she is a 50 pound American Pitt bull Terrier. I had to ask for a return because her skin

The coat is well made and easy to put on my dog. A size Large fit her well, she is a 50 pound American Pitt bull Terrier. I had to ask for a return because her skin was irritated under her front legs. Chewy made the the process so easy with no questions asked. Instead of returning it they asked that I donate it to a local shelter which I am most happy to do. Thank you Chewy and you made the process so easy. Hopefully I can find another coat that will fit her better

The coat was very nice but unfortunately it did not fit. My lab is a TALL golden labrador retriever at 90 lbs. but is not a typical stocky built lab. I ordered a xxl but it was too big. The coat will be donated per Chewy. What a great company!!!!!!

Rocky doesn’t like wearing “clothes”. However, this warm winter jacket doesn’t upset our dog at all. No pulling, wiggling, or constant turning, he seems to like it in the rain, snow and on windy evenings. I’m so glad we tried this warm, waterproof jacket.

Funky shaped dogs

I have. 20 lb purebred pom that I can only buy “stretchy shirts and sweaters” do Poms need a coat? Not really their double coats keep em warm but I put in coats to keep his fur “cleaner” in the 18 years I’ve been a pom mom this is the only 5 star ANYTHING I have ever rated. Funky shaped dog parents this is the way to go!!!

Well made, heavy duty.

Good coverage for a short legged, low rider in deep snow. He has a similar Petrageous coat, this one runs a little bigger size-wise. He's a 18.5lb Shih Tzu and size

Good coverage for a short legged, low rider in deep snow. He has a similar Petrageous coat, this one runs a little bigger size-wise. He's a 18.5lb Shih Tzu and size medium works. You can tell by the face that he doesn't like wearing coats, but he'll appreciate it more outside in the snow and brutally cold temperatures of an Illinois winter.

This is a nice and well constructed winter coat that doesn't limit movement. My 8 month old puppy doesn't immediately want to come inside anymore, and I think this coat is the reason why! When we get home and I take it off, the fur on her back that was under the coat is warm to the touch, which tells me she's staying nice and warm despite the snow and cold temps.

I was very hesitant to order a size large for my near 25 lb. mini golden doodle, whose neck to tail measurement put him in that size category. When I first put it on I planned to return it since he appeared to be swamped by it. However, with a little tweak of an added Velcro strap to contain the long excess of the overlapped strap, we are making it work. I love that it’s waterproof. And the length is perfect!
