I have purchased a few stainless steel fountains. Stainless steel is good for cleaning purposes vs plastic, but can get crusted with lime scale and sometimes I would see rust spots. I am hoping the ceramic will be easier to maintain. I like that this is also a bowl and not just a fountain, so the kitties can choose how to drink the water. Some other styles, it is just a fountain option.

This fountain does not have flow control and my current kitty will not drink from it unless I turn it off. Two cats I had many years ago liked this fountain but

This fountain does not have flow control and my current kitty will not drink from it unless I turn it off. Two cats I had many years ago liked this fountain but not current kitty. I've tried for a couple of weeks but to no avail and too late to return. Yes, Chewy is awesome and would probably give me my money back but I'm not going to ask them to do so. In reading descriptions of other fountains I knew flow control was available; I just forgot that issue when I ordered.
