Can I leave my dogs home on this fence and take my phone with me? Or does my phone need to be home for the fence to work?

Do you have to remove the collar each time your dog comes in the house to ensure of not getting warnings/shocked?

This collar is not a shock collar. It does not need to be removed, but can be if preferred. It will only send a tone or vibration when your pet is near a boundary.

Does it require constant internet?

A cellular signal is required to receive live-tracking updates and push notifications. It is not required for your collar’s GPS fence to remain active. Wi-Fi is required for setup but not continued use.

Can the system be used on property less then .5 of an acre?

Complete junk

It hardly ever worked when I bought new. Shocked my dog for no reason when he wasn’t even close to the boundary. It was super expensive and a complete waste of money

Buy at a local store

The first system I bought had a broken collar. The power button didn’t work. Chewy was great and sent out a replacement right away. Unfortunately, the replacement

The first system I bought had a broken collar. The power button didn’t work. Chewy was great and sent out a replacement right away. Unfortunately, the replacement was a USED system. I paid for a new one, so I should get a new one!!! To Chewy’s credit, they refunded my money right away and made it right. I don’t know how a used system ended up being sold as new or whether Chewy or pet safe is to blame. Very disappointed and I don’t know whether to even try again. I might look at other options.

It has also failed to stop him from leaving the yard, forcing me to chase him. On a plus note, you can track your dog from your phone if they get out. I would not recommend this product.

Tried buzzing sound to train not load so my dog couldn’t respond d to it. Chargers only lasted 2-3 hours, had set up for my property but kept saying my dog was in

Good option for places with good cell service

We ordered this after doing our research and reading plenty of reviews. Delivery was quick (1 day) and setup was fairly easy. We did have issues with connectivity

We ordered this after doing our research and reading plenty of reviews. Delivery was quick (1 day) and setup was fairly easy. We did have issues with connectivity of the collar and let. We do not have good cell phone service around out house and the collar was constantly reaching for late and switching between gps and lte. This depleted the battery and made it unreliable for the fence. Not the collars fault but definitely not good for every situation. We are swapping for the collar with just gps. Bottom line is a great choice if you have cell service but if your cell service is spotty you may want a non lte option.

But the app is slow to connect/update on the tracking feature. In also wish we could see the battery life of the collar on the app and have the manual loaded onto the app for quick reference.
