I’ve gone through several different cat water fountains before finally buying this one. My last one was a larger, USA-made version of this but it was such a pain

I’ve gone through several different cat water fountains before finally buying this one. My last one was a larger, USA-made version of this but it was such a pain to clean/reassemble and had easily breakable pieces. This one is very quiet, easy to clean/reassemble, and most importantly the cats love it.

Our kitties didn't love this fountain. Because it was an open bowl, they treated it more like a play area than a drinking fountain, which made quite the mess. It

Our kitties didn't love this fountain. Because it was an open bowl, they treated it more like a play area than a drinking fountain, which made quite the mess. It also has several little pieces and parts that require cleaning, which is fine, but a bit too tedious for us. That said, it worked well and the fountain was good quality - just not the right one for our cats. So thankful Chewy does returns!

Difficult to Clean

I've had two of these fountains within three years. The motor of the first one stopped working randomly after one year. Now I'm on the second fountain, and I'm not

I've had two of these fountains within three years. The motor of the first one stopped working randomly after one year. Now I'm on the second fountain, and I'm not sure if it's a filter issue or something else, but the water gets cloudy after several days despite regular cleaning, dumping old water, and refilling. The filter also has turned yellow and brown within one week of use when it is supposed to last at least two weeks. Despite regular cleaning with white vinegar or dish soap, I can't keep this machine clean.

I have 2 cats, and it turns out that they each prefer a little bit different style of fountain. This is my second Pet Safe fountain. I like the stainless steel, and one cat loves drinking from the bubbling top. Both PetSafe fountains are nice and quiet, but this one is easier to clean than the other plastic one. Seems like good quality for a decent price.

Worked for about 2 weeks. My cat loved the design, but the pump just stopped working one day. We have softened water, and I tried cleaning all of the parts and filter, to no avail. Chewy customer service was wonderful and replaced it for no cost, but the second one broke even sooner. Going to try another brand and hope my old lady will use another design.

I'm pretty sure my dogs would benefit as well, but they're larger, so they'd empty it fairly rapidly. I feel the smaller size is much better from the cleaning aspect.
