The smell still hasn't gone away

Our 8 year old wanted to get our 2 Sphynxs a catio for Christmas, so we chose this one, but clearly we made a huge mistake. There was an aweful smell upon opening

Our 8 year old wanted to get our 2 Sphynxs a catio for Christmas, so we chose this one, but clearly we made a huge mistake. There was an aweful smell upon opening the box, so we took it outside to put it together. It has been together and outside for over a week and a half now amd the smell is no better. We have taken our babies out to play in it 3 or 4 times, but even they smell it amd won't hacr a thing to do with it. Im pretty upset about this purchase, as this was not a cheap catio.
