We purchased this for the main floor of our home to put in the family room. It took 2 of us 2 1/2 hours to put together without any hiccups. If you follow the directions it’s not difficult especially if you are mechanically inclined. All holes lined up perfectly. You can’t put a very big litter box in the cubby, but a smaller box does fit just fine. When we completed it, one of my four cats went in and used it right away. We did put a puppy pee pad underneath it in case there was a miss. We didn’t want the wood to get soaked. I would recommend this tower!
