Put this fancy dog house together and it smells like a beautiful cedar tree. The instructions were clear and it only took two of us about a half a hour to put it together. Unfortunately one side of the roof was broken when it arrived and the broken piece was not in the box so it had to have shipped this way which is why it got four instead of five stars. My boys were very curious and went inside to explore and check it out. It has a window with a curtain that can be velcroed up to allow air through. The door has plastic weather protection and the roof is real roof material complete with a roof cap. This is an impressive and good looking dog house despite then broken piece. I think any dog would be protected from weather in this fancy house.

This is a heavy and sturdy dog house. Heads up, it loses a star for the paint odor that I can still smell with it being out of the box for 2 days and the assembly
This is a heavy and sturdy dog house. Heads up, it loses a star for the paint odor that I can still smell with it being out of the box for 2 days and the assembly is very time-consuming. It took my handy husband a couple of hours to put it all together. Other than that, it’s adorable. I love the color, the side window, and the sturdiness of it. I can see using this on the deck when my dog wants to get out of the sun, or when I am working on the garden and he wants to be near me. Pablo approves!

It’s did not come with all the Nails that we’re supposed to be used on the doghouse it also did not come with paper instructions, and if you do not own a power tool, It’s really spacious for him and the window is so perfect since I could either just have it up or down when it’s cold or hot so it’s really convenient and is really cute in my backyard as well. it will be really difficult or even impossible to build it since you need a power tool to put most of these nails in it took me around an hour and a half to build it with the help of two other people, but overall, the doghouse is really nice. I like the window feature since I can put it either up or down when it’s hot or cold and then inside is really spacious perfect for big dogs.

My chihuahua loves this dog house! We just got a chihuahua puppy recently and we set this little house up for her in her playpen outside and she is in love!! I personally love it too, it was fairly easy to assemble and the build is super sturdy. I would absolutely build it over to see my chihuahuas reaction again! I also just love the curtain/shades on the house. My other dogs are now very jealous of her as they are too big for the house. (50+ lbs)
