dubious instructions would cause me to NOT BUY

By maybemaybemaybe on Jan 8, 2022

Shucks. I wanted this to be good. The price suggest it should be. But it ain’t. Thin wood, weird design. No insulation. It’s wafer thin. I’m considering adding insulation. That’s not why I wouldn’t order this. The instructions are so poor that you have to essentially put it together a couple of times. Don’t even bother with the non-instructions. Get your drill with Phillips bit or lose your hands putting this conundrum together. Grab a drink, your doing this for a minute. If you charge this much for wood and screws then label your pieces when the instructions don’t properly and clearly indicate what is what and who is who. I’ve already ripped up the box, pieces so I’m not returning but prepare Shucks. I wanted this to be good. The price suggest it should be. But it ain’t. Thin wood, weird design. No insulation. I Like it... hope the cat does, too!

By Paty on Aug 14, 2021

This was fairly easy to put together... even a blind old bat like me could do it! Only one glitch. The guide pegs that slip into pre-drilled holes need to be spaced differently on opposing sides, so that the side can only be put together one way. As it stands now, the pegs are exactly the same spacing on either side and I got one side upside down, making the whole thing not work when I went to put the floor boards in... eliciting much snarling, growling and cursing! Maybe it was just the blind eyes... not noticing the tops and bottoms of the sides were different... I don't know. I finally realized my error and corrected it and the rest of the construction went together just fine This was fairly easy to put together... even a blind old bat like me could do it! I could wish for a couple extra screws as I managed to lose one but had one in my toolbox that could easily take it's place so the construction got finished. The structure seems sturdy enough and only time will tell if the cat, which is an outside cat, will accept it as a domicile... especially in cold weather. … more

Not sturdy cheap wood don’t buy

By Feralhousespecialist on Feb 2, 2021

We had this for our feral cats It’s cheap wood to begin with, the bottom floor is not solid, let’s air through, the roof shingles and wood after a year was weathered and leaked I added styrofoam for insulation in the winter, also I made the entrance smaller so no raccoon can enter I don’t recommend this product, it’s not well build and not well thought through. Don’t waste your money
