Not what I thought I was ordering but decided it give it a chance. Easy to put together and very cute. Plenty of room for my 5 girls. Hoping it holds up. Have had a lot of trouble with wood coops. We a lot of moisture and they fall apart after a year.

They're cute and I like the color but the quality was a bit low for me. There was a part that had snapped in half because of the way the manufacturer put the screws in sideways.

Has lasted 10 mo strong! Happy Chickens w/ 2-5 eggs a day

I have had this coop for less than a year and it is doing pretty well! With record winds, rain, wild fires and use by 4 full gown chix (they grew up in it) since Mar 2019, it's actually great! Wish I'd waterproofed it, I suppose the thin wood may be warped by now, however I took steps in it's construction beyond the super easy picture inst. A brace or 2 at corners, without which it was 'wobbly', and one from ft to bk). The perches (which are rails that I substituted a 1 1/4" dowel), with a screw through the front panel, all fixes within my limited skill set. Everything else fit perfect. Roof better then my own, lol. We're at the edge of the forests and vineyards and get predators, and the abilityI have had this coop for less than a year and it is doing pretty well! So, the 'upgrade' in construction pays off in it's overall integrity. After we lost 2 birds, now the coop resides inside a wire-fenced & roofed 10' X 13' containment, inside a fenced 30' X 50' area. But I let them out every morning to hunt & peck the acreage that's cleared and the unfenced garden areas.
I bought another one of these in Aug, and I'm glad I did as they're unavailable today 12/19. There's a similar item made of non-wood available here at Chewy, which I may purchase for my grand-daughter - I will check it out thoroughly before it goes to her.
Anyway, in summary, Good Item, I bought 2! We get 2-5 eggs a day from happy birds!… more
You can do better

I have had this coop for less than a year and it is falling apart. While supposedly weather proof, the roof now leaks over the nesting box and wood is beginning to warp and split all over. Keep in mind that it hasn't been subjected to anything extreme, only typical and outdoor use, rain, wind. the sort. It did not come with clear instructions for assembly so i had to find instructions online when it arrived. It DID arrive in only 2 days when I needed something ASAP so that is why the 2 stars. Unfortunately, only 8 months later i am having to seek a replacement.

I really like this little coop! After coating it with water repellant, I assembled it the next day - the directions were easy to follow and the bolts were so much easier to use than screws. Plenty of room for my two little Calico bantams and probably a couple more hens later. This 79 yo female had no problems with assembly! One change, I left the roof unattached, may put a hinge on it later, for now just a weight.
Made very cheap

Pieces were to small, and wood was split. No reinforcements: Had to glue and make a piece to get it to work.
not worth it

It’s super flimsy. Not worth it for that price. It breaks super fast, doesn’t last. It looks pretty but not for what I paid for.

the coop was relatively easy to put together, but there were a couple of errors in it., I could not make the 3 slat for the floor set down, it needed to fit a lot better then it did, so it set's a bit up on the 2nd slat, and the 2 "fitted" panels that go under the roof do not fit properly, the chickens were excited to visit their little house and one layed a egg in it....my chicks are pullets and just starting to lay, they prefer to lay in their bigger coop however. I think the house is well made though other then the 2 problems that I mentioned .
Build it yourself

This coop is cute. The design ideas are good. The materials are NOT good. Flimsy, thin, prone to fracture and split as it's being assembled. I think it will only do for our flock as long as the predators stay away and the weather is not extreme. Going to do what I should have done in the first place and build my own. Now I know why this product was so cheap.
