I I'd purchased this car seat with the intention of using it in the front seat of my car, however after trying everything I could think of there was really no safe
I I'd purchased this car seat with the intention of using it in the front seat of my car, however after trying everything I could think of there was really no safe way to secure it in the front. The best I could come up with was putting the front loop around the door of the glove box...but then there was nowhere to attach the front clips for the sun shade...which was the feature that induced me to buy this seat in the first place. So the back seat was the only option with appropriate ways to secure the seat and the canopy. There are no instructions, so I inadvertently slit open one of the mesh bags of padding thinking it had a proper cushion inside. It still worked, but the padding bags aren't really a good size and shape match with the pockets into which you'll place them. You get what you pay for and this wasn't that pricey, but I wish I'd purchased something more secure and better crafted. My dog does seem to somewhat prefer this over riding in her crate...and it is easier to get her in and out of it though she doesn't care for the harness I had to purchase to make it safe for her.
