This is supposed to be weather proof. There is nothing weatherproof about the unit . Cheaply made light weight wood. Absorbs water like a sponge.

It's big enough for small dogs too. The cedar smells great. My two feral cats have looked inside, but so far i haven't seen them stay inside or pull that last leg

It's adorable. The manufacturing is just very poor quality. The little side flower box wouldn't even go together and it was missing screws. So we ended up having

Overall, it was a disappointment. I would definitely not buy it again. If it were easier to return, I would. I really don't want to have to disassemble it and ship it though.

I bought this as a shelter for 2 feral cats. THere are a slat in the bottom, paw prints on the side and a paw print on the escape door - all which let in cold
I bought this as a shelter for 2 feral cats. THere are a slat in the bottom, paw prints on the side and a paw print on the escape door - all which let in cold air during the winter. I had to insulate the entire house. After about 2 years, the roof is rotting and falling apart - especially the overhang.
