I switched to using a Q-tip to apply it to my cat’s teeth, but she cried out in discomfort each time. Because of the strong odor and my cat’s negative reaction, I would not recommend this product.

I chose this product to substitute our favorite Virbac toothpaste during my dog's elimination diet since it's allergy-friendly. He doesn't like the taste of it,
I chose this product to substitute our favorite Virbac toothpaste during my dog's elimination diet since it's allergy-friendly. He doesn't like the taste of it, but apparently he gives the dog sitter way less trouble brushing his teeth than when I do it. So I think it's a me problem!
Would NOT recommend the cheese flavor
I've used Petsmile for over a year because other brands have sorbitol in them, which gave my cats diarrhea. My cats like the chicken and london broil flavors.

I just bought the cheese flavor, and it made one of my cats throw up both times I tried it on him. And the other cat clearly didn't like it. I was surprised because they love real cheese. So I will no longer use this tube.

I love Petsmile toothpaste. Its VOHC approved, and I love the fact that I can't get a good brushing done with one of the cats, that the toothpaste still works as

I have been using for about 5 years now and during their annual checkups, the vet has always said their teeth look great. Costs a little more than other brands, but definitely worth it.
