Does this work through glass sliding doors?

Answer by ChewyAug 12, 2018
The advertised range is a straight-line distance between Remote Transmitter and Collar Receiver without obstacles in between. The range may vary according the terrain, buildings, trees and electromagnetic interference from other devices.

If I have 2 collars can I select one collar for correction or will it shock both dogs

Answer by ChewyAug 15, 2019
The remote has 3 channels that allow you to work with up to 3 dogs. Press the "Channel Switch" button, with the icon of a dog, to switch between channels from one collar to another, to train separate pets.

What’s the difference between the M919 and the M86??

Answer by ChewyMay 14, 2019
The PetSpy M86 contains eight adjustable levels of vibration and shock, the PetSpy M919 contains one hundred adjustable levels of vibration and shock, and the PetSpy M686 button layout design allows for “blind” operation without needing to look at the remote. Each remote has a different design for m ultiple unique functions.

Just received ours. Are we supposed to take rubber caps off of contact points?

Answer by ChewyMar 12, 2018
The caps are to be put on the contact points when you are not using the collar, and to be kept off when the collar is in use.

These training collars didn't work! The receiver collars would not charge. I believe the batteries were past their life and discharged while sitting on the shelf. I will be retuning them for a refund. I have used PetSpy collars before and they were fine and stood up to the rigors of training a GSP.

Won’t always adjust levels correctly

What is it just correctly? It’s good like I said sometimes it doesn’t.

Have only had about a week or two and One of the collars and device are in good shape, but the other device’s parts such as the prongs that touch the dog, and the screws holding it together are completely rusted over. The batteries on each maybe last 1 1/2 days before needing a recharge and whenever they are low it seems like you have to hold what ever button you are trying to use on the controller down for 3-4 seconds before it actually does what you want, so they basically have to be at full charge for them to work properly.

Seems you have to "wake up" the remote and collar, and even with that, it doesn't always "wake up" when I want it to. I always have to hit the TONE button several times to get it to respond and sometimes, you might not have that time to give if your dog is in a bad situation. It's also VERY easy to hit the "dog" icon button and change to dog 2 or 3 in error (I was only using for one dog so this button was quite a nuisance). I have used this collar for a few weeks and I'm really not impressed. This is the 2nd PetSpy product I've purchased but probably won't buy again from them. Also, having 100 different settings for the vibrate and shock are quite unnecessary, I've now found I prefer a collar with fewer options.

I like the design of the collar unit tho I did have to make a larger collar for it. I also like that the on/off button is on the side making it less likely for being accidentally turned off. However, I have to hit the bell button multiple times before it responds at distances more than 30 feet. The shock rarely works and again, is slow to respond making this collar pretty useless in training. I wish I had made the effort to get a refund when it was new. But would recommend anyone looking at these to save your money!!

I had these shock collars for maybe 2 months before they stopped working all together. After the first month of having them the vibrate would not work and neither would the shock. I would physically put my hand on the prongs and feel nothing even when turned all the way up. Also after the first month I didn’t use them for about a week and they wouldn’t stay charged. They would be fully charged and not work then at about 2 months they stopped working completely. I was definitely disappointed with this product.
