Golden Retriever’s FAVE Toy
My 2.5 year old golden retriever is obsessed with this ball. He loves it for fetch, chomping down on to make it grunt, throwing it down the stairs, kicking it around to chase after, snuggling at night, and greeting us with. I have no idea what makes it so special for him, but we’ve gone through 3 of them and he still goes crazy for it. He’s not a tough chewer and typically doesn’t destroy his toys, but he’s 80 pounds and likes to chomp it in his mouth. It’s a good size for a large dog and made of semi-flexible rubber with a core squeaker that grunts. The core of the ball that makes it grunt has eventually broken in all of them. This piece is too large for him to swallow, but when we see that it has broken, we take out the core and give the empty ball back to him. Our dog still loves the ball once it’s hollow (I think he likes the feeling of squishing it down in his mouth), but after a few months we typically replace it with a new one so he gets to enjoy the grunt sound again. For us it’s totally worth the price for how much fun he has. His favorite toy could have been an expensive stuffed toy or puzzle instead, so I’ll happily buy this ball for as long as they make it. (I just wish they could figure out how to prevent the core from tearing over time).
Grunting ball
My Golden boy absolutely LOVES his balls, this grunting ball was his very favorite - until he lost it. It's durable so it did hold up well but he's not a super aggressive chewer.
Dogs love it
They love this ball! But get bored easily because it’s hard for them to make it squeak, but perk right back up when mom or dad squeak it for them.
Tough ball...
... but not tough enough for my super chewer hound. She LOVED it! After 3 days she popped the top off & tried to eat the insides. She still has the stick version by this brand and loves it too.
Don’t last if they work when you get them
Bought one for my pup. Squeaker lasted 15 minutes and it fell into ball. Got 2 more today . One came dead on arrival . Haven’t given her the other yet but checked and it does grunt. Sad part she lives the grunt but they are not worth getting if they don’t last. Also once squeaker falls in the ball goes off shape. Hope in the future they make it better.

Not a tennis ball
"tennis ball" is deceiving. Its bigger than a tennis ball & made of rubber. Not for small dogs. My shih-tzu cant even carry it.
