About Petstages Toys for Dogs
Chew the Right Thing
Focus your dog’s natural chewing instincts and keep him chewing on the right things with Petstages chews. Chewing helps puppies deal with teething pain, and it helps adult dogs keep their teeth clean and exercise their jaw. It can also help relieve anxiety, boredom and frustration. Petstages chews help you create a safe and healthy outlet for all your dog’s chewing instincts.
Petstages Dogwood and Alternative Chews
Petstages makes alternatives to wood, rawhide and antler chews that let your pup chew without causing you worry. Their puppy chews include the Mini Cool Chew, which can be frozen for soothing relief, and the Mini Dental Rope Chew, with knots and rubber rings. Petstages also offers Orka chews for tough chewers.
Durable Wood Alternative
The Dogwood chew stick is made in the U.S.A. from a blend of natural wood fiber and safer synthetic materials.
Petstages Puppy Chews have textures to massage sore gums and canvas streamers help clean teeth.
Petstages Orka chew toys are made for power chewers. They stand up to tough chewing and help reduce boredom and destructive behavior.
The Real Wood Dogwood Toy
The Dogwood chew toy contains real, natural wood, so it smells like a stick fresh off the tree! It has the real wood texture and taste your dog loves, without the threat of splinters.
Great for Interactive Play
With a shape ideal for throwing and carrying, the Dogwood stick is ready for some interactive fun! Take it outdoors and toss it to your pup for retrieval training or a quick game of fetch.

My pup loves to play Frisbee. I have purchased so many its not even funny anymore. I have purchased 4 of these. 3 have gone missing. One we have had for several months. He's good about carrying it around but if a rabbit takes off....well, he doesn't remember where he dropped it. He has destroyed every other flying toy out there, usually within a week and some are just harsh on his teeth and gums. This one is a little heavy but flys fairly well and is soft enough for him to catch all day if he'll let me have it. 😄
I'm a big dog a very handsome Boradore. 😉 I have a lot of frisbees but this is by far my favorite. Some are hard and and hurt the mush around my mouth, but this baby's the bomb and I can't seem to bring myself to put holes in it like I do with the plastic ones. (Though I could if I wanted to.) I never hesitate to catch it when its sailing thru the air. You should give it a try. Tell your dad it flies properly but not exactly like his favorite plastic Frisbee. Good times ahead!
I have a heeler puppy who has LOTS of energy. She loves this thing. It took her a long time to chew a hole through the middle! Still works!!
I bought this for my bluweiler and she loves it, it is a little heavy, but it does fly, and she enjoys playing with it.
I have a little dog half Jack Russel and half wire hair terrier or Yorkie, no one is sure. Saying all of this, you know he is a very high energy dog. Before he would only play fetch with a ball. We tried other disks and real frisbees and just wouldn't get him interested. When I received this, I thought OH NO the weight of it he will never be able to bring it back. Boy did he fool me the first time we tried it he loved it. We now have a frisbee playing dog. I don't know what it is about it but he loves it and will play frisbee for hours with the kids.
While it is chew proof, it is too heavy to throw. It also came very warped which added to it none use. My border collie loves playing frisbee but not with this one. Added it to the box of useless toys.
My dogs enjoy this toy. I bought 2 so they can each play catch/chase. My Sheppard/lab is a chewer and no surprise she bit through them when she gets her turn. They still fly and we have fun. Pups are sad with they are put up until we play again. I would buy again because of the fun and they aren't that expensive.
This is his favorite toy by far. He is a Bulldog not a flying disc dog like Border Collies, but he thinks he is one. He is obsessed with it.
Way too thick and heavy to fly. Have to roll it, she is most disappointed, as she loves to jump and catch.
I bought this Toy for our 5 months old Pointer Puppy who chews on everything!!!! Of course, if you give it to Puppy (or adult dog) to chew, it may be destroyed fast. We use it ONLY for playing outside (to fetch) and never inside. So, I would say it is durable enough for the purpose (after using every day for almost a month it has few small cracks on the edges). Going to buy one more, just in case we lose this.
