Ramp Lets You Teach "Old Dogs" New Tricks!
By Rosiekins on Jan 5, 2021
Our Great Pyrenees mix used to jump up in our cars and on "her" bed. Now at 12+ years, she needs help. My brother researched the PetSTEP folding ramp before purchasing one for his old dog and highly recommended it. Told me to buy it "sooner than later" so our dog could get good use from it. Glad I took his advice. We definitely recommend first training your dog to use it in the house! We started with the ramp flat. It took her a bit of getting used to walking on the ramp surface. Then we put it on our steps going to the 2nd floor, elevating it a step at a time until it was at the height of the back of our SUV. I had to coax her up and down with special treats. When we put it on the back bumper of the SUV, we stood on each side of the ramp, guiding her up and down. She needs help coming down because of the angle of the ramp -- she walks too fast. (I put a hand on her chest to slow her down.) The weight of the ramp is OK for me to lift by myself. (I weigh less than 120 lbs. and am NOT a bodybuilder!) Put your hands where the "cut out" area is so you don't pinch fingers -- works like a charm. (Warning: THIS WAS NOT A PROBLEM WITH THE RAMP -- One time, our dog decided NOT to wait for me to put the ramp up and tried to jump in the back by herself. DISASTER as she fell and landed on her back! We will now put the ramp up to the car BEFORE bringing her to the car.) … more

PERFECT in every way!
By MNMOM on Jan 8, 2021
I did a lot of research after our dog started to have spinal issues and we needed to get a ramp for the front door. This is PERFECT! It's well-made, heavy enough to not move around, but not too heavy if you need to move it or re-located it. It stands up to rain and snow and still looks brand new. The treads are so well-made and prevent slipping, even in rain and snow. This is the ramp you want!

Solid but awkward
By Matt on Jan 10, 2021
Good and solid for 65 Lb. Lab. But difficult to handle after opening. It would be helpful if there was a locking mechanism to keep it from folding after it is opened and while putting it in place.

Very Happy
By DogLover on Oct 29, 2020
Bought this for an elderly dog that cannot do the 2 steps out the back door anymore. Took a couple of days to train her to use it but working now. Solid--even I can walk on it @200#--and the ridges remove the slippery factor of other ramps without bothering her feet. Very happy with this purchase.

Perfect for our ageing dachshund
By TAG66 on Sep 19, 2020
We were given one of these ramps, we use it outdoors so my Moms ageing dachshund can forego the stairs and just saunter up the ramp. It worked so well we decided to buy one for the stairs on the other side of the house as well. Stands up well to weather, is sturdy enough it doesn't wobble when she uses it (we've had that issue in the past, she's about 25 lbs.), and if we ever felt the need, it's easy to fold up, put in the trunk, and take with us wherever we go.

Just what I needed

I liked the rubber material on the ramp; my dog did not slip going down on this ramp.

Sturdy Reliable Ramp
By Remy on Oct 19, 2020
Easy to use and durable folding ramp makes life easier for our 88# arthritic dog to get in and out of our Ford Expedition. Non slip grip surface with ridges prevents sliding on incline. Seems heavier than 18#.

Highly recommend!
By Lillykate1 on Aug 11, 2020
I own two Dobermans one is 100 lbs and the other is 75 lbs. Using treats they were comfortable going up and down the ramp in minutes. Well made and sturdy construction there was no movement. I would highly recommend this product even though it’s a little pricier than some of the others I looked at. Worth the price if you have a large dog.

Very Pleased
By Bill on Jul 8, 2020
I purchased this Pet Ramp for my son who has a 110 lb Cane Corso. His vehicle is a Jeep with thirty-five inch wheels and a lift kit. The ramp fit exactly as stated and the angle was not to steep. The dog enters and exits the vehicle safely with no problem. As the previous owner of two Great Danes, I know the importance of safely getting your dog in and out of a vehicle. I recommend this product.

Great product!
By MFont on Jun 24, 2020
This ramp is well-made and worth the extra money for the rubberized foot bed material for extra gripping, as well as overall rubberized construction which will not scratch anything on the car. We taught our 13+ year old border collie, who has arthritis, to go up and down the ramp into the back of our Highlander, in about 5 minutes. Using a leash as a gentle guide helped her gain the confidence she needed to go DOWN the ramp, which was harder for her.
