Very absorbent, nice smell, no tracking
As usual, prompt correct shipping from Chewy and Fed Ex. Packaging is very robust and a molded in handle makes the product user friendly. Open by just cutting off
As usual, prompt correct shipping from Chewy and Fed Ex. Packaging is very robust and a molded in handle makes the product user friendly. Open by just cutting off one corner so the handle is left intact, easy to pour. The pellets seem a bit large at first but they break down very quickly with liquid and the smaller the pellets the more dust there would be. So I would recommend if your cat seems suspicious of the texture, I would add some water until it is saw dust consistency and see if they accept it better like that. There is very little odor to the raw product and a slight woodsy/pine scent once wet. Very little tracking and much harder for your cat to throw out of the box when digging than other litters.
Not good
This smells, can only be cleaned using a sifter. I’m throwing the whole bag out.

A Healthier Kind of Cat Litter

The package could sell me on this product: 100% natural pine; fragrance-free; 100% chemical free; 99% dust free; no toxic dyes. Although made from pine, it smells of wood, not pine. I thought my cat - who abhors smells - would like the product, but I had no luck convincing her. I tried a litter box with just this product, then took her regular litter and added this product to it. No luck. Of course there was a backup litter box elsewhere and she went to that one. I've mixed it in varying amounts over the week, but she won't take to it. However, your cat might like it, and it does seem to be a healthier product. Dust-free is important for cats. The product is made into small rolls, and they do have slightly sharp edges; I don't think that is helpful, but it's how they are cut. It does say the wood pellets will not stick to fur or paws. I think most cats would use this product. I added some water to the pellets in a bowl, as you can see in the photo, and the pellets are very absorbable and will clump for cleaning. I highly recommend that you try it, mixing it with your cat's usual litter until they get used to it. I think the lack of dust is important enough to try.
Seems fine, but cats show no interest in using it

If your cats like pine pellet litter, this may be a good option. The pellets don't track much outside the box, there is very little dust, and they smell pretty neutral right out of the bag. The bag has a nice carrying handle which is quite convenient for moving it around - at least until it's opened. And the bag is nice and thick, so it's unlikely to bust open during shipping. Unfortunately, I have not yet had any success in getting my cats to use this litter, so I can't comment on how it performs when wet or with odor control. (I have four cats that had access to this box for two weeks, but none used it. However, none of them have used pine pellet litter previously.)
Not a hit
