This is just an FYI. This has nothing to do with chewy or the shipping company. The worms came packaged in a mesh bag with paper and a freezer pouch. The box had 2 holes cut on the sides. The only thing I didn’t think about was 1. The blazing heat of the day and not being able to get to my package for a few hours and 2. ANTS! The package was left at my door, by time I got to the package ants had taken over.

They were loose in box,stuck to tape,at least 3/5 holes in 1 bag & very few medium. More small & tiny.Not sure how many I lost in delivery truck. But no dead ones. Had 1 bug & few pupa so thats good. They were pretty hot to so lucky delivery came when they did. Gotta say they were pretty hungry & thirsty & very lively. I like to see all of them that didn't escape are alive. Thx for healthy worms.
Last order bad
I have ordered a few times and the mealworms were awesome, thus last order they were all black and my bearded dragon will not touch them.7

Got my meal worms in today. They stink! It was very fast shipping and they’re all dead and I have meal worms that stay out all the time and they’re not dead.

Good quality bad description
Quanity and quality are great. However, worms are micro tiny and not at all mediums.

needs better packaging
i have to say i was fairly disappointed in the way these were packaged. 1000 mealworms loose in a box with a hole in the side. worms were spilling out everywhere whilst i was trying to get them all in a container. not to mention a good portion of them were already pupating and cannot be fed!
Unfortunately they all came in dead :( but they did come fairly quickly

Great quality, delivery, and price! This is the first time I've ever had bugs delivered and every last one of them was alive and plump! Will definitely be using Phat Jack's again!
