Worst first experience
The box wasn’t labeled fragile or live feeders or anything so it had been tossed around. When I opened it they were loose in the box with only packing paper no container
The box wasn’t labeled fragile or live feeders or anything so it had been tossed around. When I opened it they were loose in the box with only packing paper no container for them to stay in while shipping at all it took me an hour to get them out and even then they were inside the cardboard, some were smashed or stuck to the tape itself. Yes there is potential loss during shipping but if it would’ve been packaged and shipped correctly it wouldn’t have happened. And they were all small not medium like I ordered with other small dead crickets thrown in with them.

We had to tear the box apart just to make sure we got all the worms. It was ridiculous. It took us over a hour to get them all from the box and I’m sure we have in the house now because they fell out. Will not order these again.

Package was horrible
Sending the meal worms in a box was a horrible idea. It took me 30 minutes to get all the meal worms out of the box and that don't even count the ones I had to get

It took me 30 minutes to get all the meal worms out of the box and that don't even count the ones I had to get off the floor that fell out as soon as I opened the box. I will say that almost all made it alive only a few dead but me trying to get them out of the box a few more ended up dieing. I was really excited to have them delivered to my door so I didn't have to drive 30 minutes to get them but now I think I will make that 30 minute trip.
Put worms in net!
The first time I ordered meal worms they came in a net. The second time they came loose in a box (gross). Flew everywhere when I opened the box. (Filed a complaint)

The worms showed in a sealed cardboard box. Not contained in anyway. I opened it they were crawling out all over the place. Stuck in the tape, burrowed in the corrugation of the box, just everywhere! Was able to retrieve some of the worms to their container which was smaller than the box so everyone outside got a very hearty feeding twice in one day as I had ordered 2 boxes. Most worms arrive in a bag of some sort. Never ordering again.

Be prepared
I purchased these worms thinking they would come in a bag. When I cut the box open there were worms everywhere!! They were loose in the box with some egg crates

This order was replaced 3 times and none of those replacements were correct. It seemed like who ever was doing the packing just was paying attention at all. Cost

Cost chewy quite a bit of money in the end unfortunately because they sent the order a total of 4 times and ended up giving us a refund because it never came correct. I canceled my auto ship order and will not be ordering from chewy again unless the wearhouse quality control gets an upgrade.
