The Fung Shui fountain is the only design that we’ve ever had. When the motor gave out, I decided to replace the whole fountain rather than just the motor simce

The Fung Shui fountain is the only design that we’ve ever had. When the motor gave out, I decided to replace the whole fountain rather than just the motor simce we had had it a long time. I like that the cord has been updated to be direct plug into an outlet rather than have the power cord and power “pack” as two separate pieces.

Two weeks of ownership and the pump has started to become a little more audible than expected, but otherwise still pumps water. Some improvements I would like to see: mesh filtering ahead of the carbon filter, more color options, improvement to the upper part where the water falls - this part tends to trap fur with animals that prefer drinking from up there, I think it should flow a little more freely though slots instead of holes. Also, the manufacturer behind this needs to provide replacement pumps. Things I like: two main parts, plus pump; if the power goes out, you still have water access for your animals.

This fountain is a creative and intriguing idea but it didn't work out for us. First plug in showed the pump was a bit noisier than our last fountain (different design). Checking the fill level, topping it off did not fix it. Further, our cat (for some reason) scoops the water out of the pool and onto the floor (most of it, making a BIG mess). We tried a couple ideas to stop this, but it continues. Going to have to return the fountain.
