Unfortunate the quality has changed

A couple years ago, my dog had one of these and it lasted a full year before it was lost in a pond. The squeak worked the whole time. I bought 6 of these last week

A couple years ago, my dog had one of these and it lasted a full year before it was lost in a pond. The squeak worked the whole time. I bought 6 of these last week and so far 3 of them have already lost their squeak. Very lame for such an expensive single ball. The rubber is durable at least.

Long time buyer recently disappointed

Our German Shepherd loves these more than anything and we've bought 100+ over the years. We seriously believe lately either they have a new manufacturer or new manufacturing

Our German Shepherd loves these more than anything and we've bought 100+ over the years. We seriously believe lately either they have a new manufacturer or new manufacturing process that has reduced the quality of these balls. With a GSD destruction was inevitable however these balls used to retain some semblance of a squeak for up to a week after being presented to his lordship. Now it seems he can consistently extract the squeak machine from within these balls in minutes. Concerned it might be a choking hazard especially for someone with smaller dogs.

It literally lasted 7 minutes

This one looked tough, we got this for his 8th birthday, and figured dogs don’t have calendars so gave it to him 12 days ahead of time, ball seems tough, squeaker

This one looked tough, we got this for his 8th birthday, and figured dogs don’t have calendars so gave it to him 12 days ahead of time, ball seems tough, squeaker fell inside the ball. Just like all of the other balls, the squeaker takes a dump, and the ball lives on. He isn’t even rough on them he uses them as intended, but the squeakers always last a day or so. We got this one hoping it would last longer, and it was super pricey for the value.

We picked up this ball on a whim while on a family vacation and it's our dog's absolute 100% favorite toy. We have a wheaten terrier with a big strong wheaten head

We picked up this ball on a whim while on a family vacation and it's our dog's absolute 100% favorite toy. We have a wheaten terrier with a big strong wheaten head and she hasn't destroyed this ball. It bounces oddly, it squeaks, and she just loves playing house fetch with it. It's an inside ball for us. Can't recommend enough.

Miss the older orbee tough squeak ball.

These balls use to be the best. Now they make them smaller. They were 3 inch balls till they made them smaller AND before the squeaker was under the inside cover

These balls use to be the best. Now they make them smaller. They were 3 inch balls till they made them smaller AND before the squeaker was under the inside cover and now the squeaker comes out first time played with. Thankfully my dog leaves it when he pulls it out otherwise swallowed pieces would not be good. I wish they would bring back first ones they made.
